Revlon colour run away
Review of Revlon ColorStay by Munkee

Advantages: Quick, easy, good coverage
Disadvantages: very runny and not lasting very long

I bought this product over a month ago mainly because my roots needed sorting out. The instructions were easy to read and well set out and included a pair of protective gloves. It was easy to mix but very very runny and was like watered down shampoo to apply. There was enough to cover my hair and it covered quite well, probably because of the consistency, but I left it for 30 minutes after carefully following the manufacturers reccomendations. ...
...conditioner supplied in the kit left my hair smoothe, silky and smelling lovely. I dried my hair looking in a mirror and saw the change in colour. It was neat, even and well covered. A month later, the colour has faded more that I expected it to after ths length of time. I reccomend this product to someone whpo wants a quick and easy colour and not lasting more that a couple of months. ... Read review

Water based blonde!
Review of Clairol Hydrience by clarky7

Advantages: Good shade range, Easy to use
Disadvantages: Not enough in 1 pack for long hair.

*Time to buy mum a hair colour* My mums graphite grey roots were showing through again so it was time for me to trundle off down to Superdrug where I was to find a Colour that was gentler on her scalp than the last one I had used. After five minutes of deliberating I chose *Clairol Hydrience* because of the shade range and the fact that apart from being gentle and water based it covered 100% of Grey. I should also mention that it was on offer at ...
...it normally is in stock for about £3.79 or Up to £4.59. *Which shade* I used 9.3 which is a very light blonde with Lots of gold in it becuase my mum has very dark skin for an old woman so you must try and avoid ashen shades, there are many different blondes from very light to dark and loads in between! The reds on the boxes are as bright as any other brand and there are plenty of brunnettes including one black. *Whats in it Then?* The product ... Read review

L'Oreal Excel10 hair colour
Review of L'Oreal Feria Color by icirebla

Advantages: Develops in 10 minutes
Disadvantages: None

This review is for l'Oreal Excel10 NOT Feria - but I don't know how to start a new link. Dying my hair is something I have to do as I'm going grey and I don't want to grow old gracefully (disgracefully is more fun!). But I really hate doing it, especially as it takes so long for the colour to develop (as my hair tends to be resistent to colour I usually end up having to leave the dye on for at least 30-35 minutes). So when I saw the telly ad for ...
...possible that a hair colour could develop in just 10 minutes AND cover all grey? It also claimed to make the hair stronger and with the help of the cashmere conditioner leave it shiny - it all sounded too good to be true! Well shortly after seeing the ad regularly on TV the dreaded moment arrived - I know I need to colour my hair when suddenly I look as if I'm going thin on top - dark hair colour, light roots = the balding look.... So off I trotted ... Read review

great highlighting kit
Review of Clairol Herbal Essences Highlights by nicnncha

Advantages: easy to use, lasts for months, cheap
Disadvantages: none

i have blonde hair, but a friend of mine told me why dont i get some blonde highlights, just to make a difference. i have never dyed my hair in the past, so we went to a hairdresser, paid £30 and i have to say i loved my hair. The blonde highlights looked great. However, 3 months later the highlights had started to fade but £30 a go for highlights every 3 months is expersive, so i went to boots to have a look round for maybe a kit so i could do it ...
...kit, it looked alot simplier than all the other kits and wasnt a bad price at £6. With the kit you get a blue applicator, and few different bottles, you mix all the bottles together and shake hard. Then with a friend, use the applicator and comb the applicator through your hair, we do it in layers. The dye is blue so you can see where you've done, but dont worry your hair wont stay blue. Anyway it takes about 10-15 minutes to do and you need to wait ... Read review
