My wanderings took me into Curry's where they were offering the Braun Smoothstyler C31S for just £12.99 - the shelf edge label suggested this was 'half price' and I never can resist a bargain! I love my Braun style and go, it is so verstaile and easy to use. it is small enough to carry in a bag or suitcase- indeed I never go without my style'n go. This hair styler relies on gas cartridges to heat the curling tongs/ brush. It is simple to use, just place the cartridge into the base, click into place and youare ready to go. To switch on- all you need to do is slide the 'on' button from the '0' setting to the '1' setting,you then click ...
...few seconds for the item to heat up and you are ready to go! THis styler can be used with the brush attatchment or the tongs, Yyou can find this by sliding the brush attatchment off the tongs. Disadvantages: straighteners aren't much good!

This product comes with a handle, a curling attatchment, a flicking atattchment and a straightening atattchment which clip onto the handle. It is mains powered and comes with two free gifts. I found this product generally quite good. The curling attatchment worked nicely and although flicking one also worked quite well it took a while to learn to use effectively. however, the straighteners were difficult to use as they are too wide and they didnt ...
...to get rid of. The steam works well but I found that unless you screw it on very well, the water container tends to leak and so you have to empty it between use which can be a bit of a pain. I purchased this styler some months ago, but after years of struggling to style my hair and purchasing many hair styling gadgets that were unsuccesful, I didn't really hold out much hope for it. It is brilliant. Its quick, easy and makes my hair look healthy and shiny. It took a few goes to get the hang, but I couldn't be without it now. You basically just brush your damp hair in the direction and style that you desire until completely dry and finish ...
...hair like straightening does and it isn't tricky and time consuming like blow drying. I have very limp, lifeless hair, but I don't even find I have to use hair products to help hold the style.
