Not one of MOPs best
Review of MOP Glisten Volumising Spray by Miss_R

Advantages: Maybe use as hairpspray, some organic ingredients
Disadvantages: cloying smell, sticky, makes hair stiff, hair damage trying to comb through

...natural ingredients, not artificial additions. MOP never test on animals and every product is suitable for pregnant women. Some products such as those in the Pear range are particularly good for children. The Glisten range is aimed at people with chemically treated hair or those who just want their hair to be shinier as it aims to add volume and lots of shine. It is made with certified orange extract so most of the products in the range have a soft ...
...ml bottle for the usual MOP price! £8-£9ish. As you've guessed it, the volumising spray is intended to create fullness in dull, limp and lifeless hair. I love the big, voluminous hair look so i like trying different volume boosting products out! It contains certified organic lemongrass which is an antioxidant, anti-irritant and anti-bacterial to soothe, certified organic soybean which contains natural resins to provide the hold element and biotin ... Create sea waves
Review of GHD Sea Spritz by hcs92

Advantages: Recreates the beach look
Disadvantages: Can't use on dry hair

...is wet, otherwise it can make your hair sticky and just doesn't work as well. It spells nice (lemony) and is very easy to use (just spritz liberally) but can be quite hard to get hold of in general shops (best to go straight to the ghd website). ... Read review

Pantene Hairspray
Review of Pantene Pro V Pro-Vitamin Firm Hairspray Natural Hold Aerosol by Spottydog11

Advantages: Works, non-sticky
Disadvantages: None

...when I came across the Pantene range. I have used their shampoo in the past and know that their tv adverts that they are quite well respected in the haircare world so I though I would give one of their hairsprays a try. Now, I generally only use hairspray once I have curled my hair as the curls don't stay in well on their own so I decided to go for the Perfect curls, bouncy hold hairspray. For a 300ml can in Boots it was approximately £2.99 so a ...
...soon to find out. Pantene is owned by Procter and Gamble and if you are interested in finding out more about their products their official website can be found at www.pantene.co.uk. The directions for use are much the same as any other hairspray can, hold about 25-30 cms away from your hair and spray. Now I like to spray over the top of my head and then just let it fall down over my head so I get an even, natural look. The thing I liked about this ... Read review

Hold still.
Review of Asda Hairspray Extra Firm Hold by nursie_nursie

Advantages: Lasts well, is really cheap and leaves my hair nice and shiny.
Disadvantages: Smells a bit but who cares!

I have relatively short hair and I style it almost daily, I don't like to use expensive products but I still want ones that work! This hairspray works quite well, my hair doesn't feel sticky and hard, just controlled. At just 52p for 300ml I think this spray is an absolute bargain! It lasts me about a month even though I am using it about six times a week and so the value for money is really good. I don't use much at a time as I just like to make ...
...packaging is nothing special, a silver tin which can easily be over looked on the shelves as it is not in any way imaginatively designed or eye catching. The spray is easily depressed so there is no having to fiddle about to get it to work. This does smell a bit when sprayed but I don't mind it that much, not like some. The smell doesn't last on my hair and so I don't worry about how it smells, once dry the scent is no longer apparent. My style ... Read review

Protect yourself from heat
Review of Manic Heat Protector Spray by mum2boys82

Advantages: Cheap. seems to work well
Disadvantages: Smells strange

I will start this review by telling you that I am fairly lazy when it comes to doing my hair. It tends to spend most of its time tied up in a pony tail as then I can tie it up wet and forget about it for the rest of the day. However, when I go out for an evening or want to make a good first impression I try to make a bit more of an effort. This involves trying to blow dry and straighten very thick shoulder length hair. After seeing how dry some ...
...decided that maybe I needed to get some heat protection. Whilst looking around my local Wilkinsons I spotted this little beauty at 99p. What a bargain, even if it's not great for 99p I won't mind! Packaging --------------- The product is made by gum salon, who appear to do a range of hair care products. It comes in a bright pink bottle with white writing outlined in black. It has a spray dispenser and instructions on how to use it on the back. ... Read review
