I have only fairly recently become the owner of a hand mixer, having previously relied on a balloon whisk and arm power. I purchased the Kenwood from John Lewis for around £45, and although the price sounds a bit steep, i have the mid set, 'If you give more, you get more'. I haven't got the red wine coloured one as shown in the picture, i have actually got a cream one, everything else however is the same. ...chrome is nice but the Sabichi has the classic white plastic look that works well with my kitchen, plus the fact I always store my mixer in the cupboard and I never have an audience when baking so the colour or material is irrelevant to my needs.
