There's no denying that they made a well-played, well-produced record here, but it doesn't blow you away like the other covers. If you don't already own all the previously released covers, this is worth buying, but to be brutally frank, you could end up using the disc of 'new' covers to scare away the birds from your crops. ... ...what I most like about Tool is, that they don't just make music for the money and they do not make so-callled "Shovel-music" such as certain artists *cough*Brittney Spears *cough*. But overall I think this is a solid album,personal favorites from this album include "Vicarious" and "1000 days" but to be honest I love almost all songs that Tool created, only a few exceptions exist here! To get straight to the point, I love this album. It hasn't left my iPod, and I've had it a few months, so in my view, its up as the Bon Jovi of indie punk. With the exception of 'Prayer of the refugee' and 'Roadside' everything is nearly the same style (heavy, fast, punk rock chords, with a strong lead guitar part backed with shouty and aggressive political lyrics (none of these are bad things)). Song by song: Chamber the Cartridge: An okay opener, really doesn't give an amazing first impression of the album with a long and stupid intro without any instruments (sounds like a recording of a pub, when its half empty).
