George Foreman Grill
Review of George Foreman 10032 by
switcher
Advantages: Quick and easy to use and clean
Disadvantages: Not a lot, really
The most used gadget in our kitchen.
I'm always a little skeptical about heavily hyped products endorsed by celebs that appear to have no obvious connection. This is an exception.
You can cook just about anything on it easily. It has two heating elements so both sides get cooked without the bother of flipping your burger. I even toast the bread rolls at the same time.
Two heating elements Both elements are ridged to allow the ...

Great Grill
Review of George Foreman 10099 GR30 by
brownieiscool
Advantages: easy to use, practical
Disadvantages: short power cable
Ever since the George Foreman Grills came out my family and I have got throught around 5 becuase we use them almost every day but the style we have purchased twice is the 10099 GR30. This one suits us best as it has a large amount of cooking space yet is not overly expensive. It is easy to clean if you get there before the grease hardens otherwise it can be quite stubborn.
My family use the grill for everything from bacon for breakfast to chicken ... ...sized chicken breasts and around 5 medium sized burgers.
It cooks quickly and because it has grill plates top and bottm you get a nice crispy covering on things like sausage and chicken. As I can see there is only one problem with the grill and that is the power cable isnt very long so is awkward if you dont have much work space.
Overall this a conveniant, easy to use piece of equiptment and I definatly think we will continue to buy them in the ...

A great grill
Review of George Foreman 10199 H/GRI by
littledevilxx
Advantages: Health factors
Disadvantages: Cleaning
I got this grill to take to uni with me. Its a quick, easy and most importantly healthy way to cook. It means I can eat burgers without feeling quite as guilty about the fat content. When you first use it to cook fatty meat it does shock you what comes out of it, and makes you glad you are not consuming that. The fat drips into the drip tray which is the right shape to hook underneath and prevents mess. The grill can get messy but if it is cleaned ... ...comes with and a damp cloth its fine. As the plates aren't removable they can not be soaked so it does take longer to clean than the types with removable plates. I liked the idea booklet that it came with and loved the grilled pineapple and the courgette slices. I rarely use the bun toaster as it doesn't really do much to the bread. The heat controls on other grills are useful so you don't burn foods, this grill does not have this feature. ...

another winner from George
Review of George Foreman 10387 H/G by
louisecb
Advantages: fat free food, stylish, easy to store
Disadvantages: cleaning the grill.
I already had the big george silver grill, which i got when the george forman range cam out and i loved it, so when they bought out the health grill i had to have it, as i could use it indoors, for small dinner, but also in the garden, as an add along to be bbq.
Using the george forman range means that foods that can be quite fatty, are not, due to the way that the grill is slanted so all the fat is drained away.
This grill as a 1302cm grilling ... ...round so need to cook sausages or even chicken pieces. Like my other forman grill this one also has a floating hinge, which means that if you are cooking larger pieces of meat it is easy to use and also it is easy to clean. who could ask for more.
Like all of georges products it has a Variable Thermostat with Ready Light so you know when the grill is at it optimum temp to start cooking and so you food is cooked to perfection. Along with the 'coolwall ...

Grilling (as opposed to boxing) clever *UPDATE*
Review of George Foreman 10654 by
Quakerman
Advantages: Healthier cooking, easy to clean
Disadvantages: Uneven cooking if items are not the same thickness
...a Canadian make) so the George Foreman grill would have to be very impressive to convert me.
Was it? Well yes and no. I do use it regularly now, but it does have its drawbacks.
The main one of those is that if you are grilling several items, and they aren't the same thickness, the grill cooks unevenly. Also, it doesn't work if you are grilling very thin items.
So for those, it's back to the Paderno pan. But for everything else, the George Forman ... ...am very pleased with the George Foreman grill. I use it three or four times a week, and the results are usually great. It won't replace a good grill pan totally, but for ease, speed and healthy cooking, you can't beat it.
*UPDATE*
Well I have had the grill for over two years now, and it is still going strong. I still use it regularly and I am very pleased with it. ...
