...can be viewed on the Sony website. What Attracted Me To This System? I wanted something that was modern looking and sophisticated. It was highly rated by What Hi-Fi? The speakers are very "subtle" and wall mountable - I didn't want large in your face speakers. Sony is a quality brand that I rate. I wanted something that gave good sound quality from music CD's (I use it as a Hi-Fi as well). My Verdict? Whilst I wouldn't class myself as a "tv/vision/hi-fi" ...
...The music quality from CD's is cracking, considering this is not a dedicated music player. The bass is not overpowering, just a quality feeling. The mid range from the 5 wall mounted speakers is also superb (especially given their size - I still wander how they can produce the sound they do!!!). ...purchased this product in a Sony centre. I have to say it was most definetly not a dissapointing purchase, as I was really impressed with the Design and the intense ambience which it provides throught the 6 radio enhanced speakers. A drawback however was the lack of a Dolby surround system. The wireless speakers were not dissapointing, but I found that they sounded funny when watching TV channels. ...fact that their were no messy wires, really helped keep my living room tidy. All in all, it was an expensive product and something I had been saving up for, but it was within reason of price and it justified its price tag. WOW! I have been looking for a home cinema for a while then saw a review of this product in a london magazine...They raved about it, saying that for the price it is a very good system. Found one on display and was amazed to find the speakers were actually quite small and the dvd player is quite a funky looking piece of kit. The sound out put is fantastic, nice crisp bass for music but good sound for TV / dramas etc....loads of different settings ... Read review

Advantages: excellent sound quality
Disadvantages: base of speakers takes up more space than expected

The sound quality through these speakers is excellent and the sub woofer is fantastic. The DVD player can play just about anything but found when I played a CD in it there was no screensaver so you have to make sure you press the button to bring up the CD information or you run the risk of getting screen burn or so my husband says. We use ours with a samsug TV, I don't know if this makes a difference or not but I have fund that the DVD player woks ...
...I think it may have been a little tricky to install but my husband did it and it seemed to take quite a long time. I find the speakers although they are quite sleek looking they still take up quite a lot of unnecessary floor space due to the big bases. Overall I would recommend this to anyone who asked. ... Advantages: Great picture, nice and loud but doesnt lose the crispness and beautifully designed!
Disadvantages: Goes wll with samsung tele's, maybe not so with other manufacturers

...this hooked up to my Samsung 556, the DVD player has 1080p upscaling which produces an image to rival that of most blue ray players! It also has samsungs new automatic link up function which means only one controller is needed, when you turn the DVD player on, the tv automatically switches on and goes to the correct channel, although i believe you need a HDMI cable for this, although these arent too expensive if you browse, a £25 one from amazon/play ...
