Halloween is an American Independent horror film which was made in 1978. The film centres around events occuring in the fictional midwestern town of Haddonfield, Illinois on Halloween night. The film is directed by John Carpenter, and also co-written by him along with Debra Hill. At the beginning of the film it is Halloween night in 1963 and a six year old Michael Myers butchers his seventeen year old sister ,Judith, to death with a carving knife. ...

...the film takes place on Halloween 1978, 15 years after a 6 year old killed his sister. The madman has now escaped from the asylum, donned a creepy mask, and headed back to the town of the original horror. Jamie Lee Curtis is Laurie Strode, the resourceful teenager who is stalked over the course of Halloween night by the masked man. ...a scene from the original Halloween that subtly plays on a screen in a bar. It wasn't long before Michael returned though. After spending 10 years in a coma, he is now waking up for Halloween. It all began with Halloween, directed by John Carpenter which was released in 1978, almost thirty years ago now. It was only intended to be a small film for drive-in movies but word of mouth spread and it went on to be released worldwide, making millions. It is still ranked as one of the greatest horror movies or just movies ...
...which are just laughable now, Halloween is still terrifying to people who have never seen it. It starred Jamie Lee Curtis as Laurie Strode, a teenage babysitter who is for some reason being stalked by this masked maniac. It all comes to a soaring finale where Michael Myers (the masked maniac) is shot 6 times but still manages to get up and walk away... It was only a matter of time before a sequel was called for after the originals success and Halloween ... Read review

...the original finished is where Halloween 2 starts off, Laurie Strode injured, Micheal Myers (I'll be calling him MM from now on) escaped even though he was badly injured & Dr Loomis still in pursuit. In case you'd forgotten the ending of Halloween there is a brief reprise here from when Laurie sends the 2 kids to call the police onwards. MM should have been caught as he was watching Loomis talk to the cop, there were a load of children walking down ...
...watching Loomis they would have reached where he was standing. I've debunked the film in the opening 10 minutes. The 2nd pretty HUGE goof is the guy they've got playing "The Shape" AKA MM, he is no-where near as big as the guy in the previous movie, he's too short and way too slim built to be Myers. ...Production year was 1981 for Halloween 2. Yes the great mind of John come back for one more Halloween scare.. Halloween 2, unlike most other horror movies continues where the film left off. Michael Myers is still on the lose, but in this Halloween we find out why his after Laurie (Jamie lee). I'm not going to say why; you'll just have to watch it to find out!! With Doctor Loomis still looking for Michael, hoping to get to him before he kills again. Michael knows that Laurie has been taken into hospital.
