This is the continued story of Lestat, one of the main characters of Interview with the Vampire. We also see other familiar characters in this story. To get more details of their lives throughout the Chronicles is a great plus for the fans. When Interview ended, I was wanting more, and this tale delivers! In the typical Anne Rice style, this book is a page turner. Once I started it, it was hard to put it down. This book follows The Mayfair Witches and Lasher. I read it first and was a bit confused as to the story line, but as I got into the book, it made little difference that I hadn't read the other two before it.
