Diamond review   Getting Smart with Smartronics
Review of Fisher Price Baby Smartronics Computer Learning System by belfin

Advantages: Children learn the alphabet and numbers in a fun way
Disadvantages: Can be awkward to get the keyboard to sit on your's.

...made by top toy producers Fisher Price who are a subsidiary of Mattel. Fisher Price celebrated their 75th Anniversary last year and are responsible for making a vast range of toys that girls and boys love. We found this toy/learning aid in Argos although it was available in shops such as Toys R Us and Woolworths too if I remember correctly. It was bought as a gift for our son's first christmas so he was 8 months old at the time even though it did ...
...the weblink up to the Fisher Price site and the content guide for parents which is great for finding out on screen how the different levels work and which is suitable for your child depending on age or ability. There are 3 levels to choose from:- Level 1 This is for very young children who can sit on your knee with the keyboard in front of them. It doesn't matter which key they hit as something fun will appear on screen - it could be the puppy ... Read review

Fisher Price Chatterphone
Review of Fisher Price Chatterphone by Angelpybs

Advantages: Relive your childhood. Quality Toy. No batteries
Disadvantages: Handset cable too short. Toy no longer reflects modern day phones

My son received this toy as a gift for Christmas and I think I was more excited than him when he opened it as I instantly remembered it from my own childhood. FisherPrice have updated this classic toy for a new generation and I'm sure lots of parents my age will recognise it. It's now a lighter weight plastic (still sturdy and good quality) toy phone with the same pull along cord and eyes that move as you drag it along. The traditional style phone ...
...the numbers and the handset is attached by a coiled cord. On the positive side I think it's still a great pull along toy and this is how my 19mth old son plays with it. The pull along cord is a decent length, a problem I find with many pull along toys is that you can't actually pull them along whilst standing but this doesn't have that problem. It's cute and inoffensive to look at with bright colours which would interest younger children. My son ... Read review

Dance till you fall over
Review of Fisher Price Dancin' Bandstand by tinajune1

Advantages: bright cheery colours, fun, teaches child to stand and dance
Disadvantages: batteries run out quick, noisy, bulky

We bought the Dancin' Bandstand for Sophia for Christmas, being on a bit of a budget we got it second hand from a couple with two children for £15.00, however in the shops it is approx £40.00. It can be bought from all major toy stores. It is recommended for ages 6 months +, however Sophia was 8 months old when she got it and I would say she didnt really take an interest in it till she was approx 10 months old. With our product being second hand ...
...bit of wear and tear, but there is absolutely nothing wrong with it, it is like brand new! Obviously it is made to last and has been thoroughly tested. There are two height settings for the band stand which is great as your child can use it when they are sitting down or when they are standing up by pulling themselves up on the blue bar at the front. The band stand itself has a bright red monkey that dances and twirls when the music plays, Sophia ... Read review
