Powerful Steam Iron
Review of Bosch TDA8333GB Sensixx by Maxlarndison

Advantages: More steam then you can wish for
Disadvantages: None

I brought the Bosch Sensixx Comfort Power iron a few weeks ago now after mine gave up the ghost with a bang. I needed something that will be reliable and powerful, so I chose this one. ~Features~ It has the maximum power wattage which is 2600w which heats up very quickly. It has a large water container which holds up to 300ml. 3m length power cord which is very handy for me as I lack plug sockets in my home. Stainless steel scratch resistant ...
...I can happily say my customers think it is. I have never used Bosch before but am happy to say I would do again in the future so therefore I would recommend this iron. The iron comes with a full instruction manual Thank you very much for reading. ... Read review

MORPHY RICHARDS 40725 IRON - HOT DEAL
Review of Morphy Richards 40725 by traveller10

Advantages: The easyGlide Stainless Steel Soleplate
Disadvantages: Corded

Hi there, thank you for viewing my review and I do hope you find this helpful. I would be really grateful if you would give this review a rating at the end and would love to recieve any comments you have. Ok then, we're off ......... **********COST********** This iron cost £49.00 which to be honest I think is a reasonable enogh price for a decent iron. I have found in my experience that you definately get what you pay for in irons. *************FEATURES************ ...
...design of the steam/heat dial which is easy to get too and quite innovative as it is not positioned under the handle. The EasiGlide stainless steel soleplate is super and it does cover a large surface area (any old reason to cut down on ironing time is good to me !!!). It definately lives up to its name "EasyGlide", as that is exactly what it is. I couldn't believe the easy of pushing the iron around. I also do like the handle. It is a very comfortable ... Philip's Ironing!
Review of Philips GC 2016 by thespurs

Advantages: Good price, operates at low temperatures
Disadvantages: None

...will last for a long time. It is made from a strong material which protects it from any damage. The brand name is also important, you can rely on Philips to produce a good product. At the end of the day it's an iron but a good one at that. ... Read review

Philips GC 3232 EASY CARE
Review of Philips GC 3232 EASY CARE by ChellieBigBellie

Advantages: Long cord. Plenty of steam. Reasonable price.
Disadvantages: Quite heavy. Water tank needs regular filling. No auto shut-off.

...(£40) I decided to buy Philips GC3232 EasyCare iron. I bought it from Curry's at £39.99. Prices online and high street stores are all around the same mark give or take a couple of pounds. So.. the iron. My first comment is how easily it glides due to Philips Careeza soleplate which glides easily over all types of fabric that I have been able to test in my home. The water inlet is rather large (in comparison to irons I have used) with very little ...
...if you add too much water and need to it empty out. It has 3 metres of cord which, for me, is more than enough to manouvre the iron freely across the board (and to reach to the door way so I can watch T.V. while doing the chore!) The cord length is a little harder to store neatly I find though. The iron has a 360o swivel cord which reduces cord knotting or tangling. The iron has a 300ml tank and water viewer so you can easily see how much water ... Read review

Carried away with the steaming iron
Review of Breville IR73 by aspebbles

Advantages: Light and easily maneouverable
Disadvantages: Some small niggles

Its the old story. When my trusty iron of five years faithful service finally packed in, it was time to buy a new one. Loathe to spend to much of my precious weekend and hard earned dosh trawling through the shops, I headed straight to my local Co-op supermarket as they usually stock a bit of kitchenware. ~~ THE BASICS Price: around £13.99 . Appearance: mine is mid blue and white, quite large in size and nice and shiny and new! Comes well packaged ...
...instruction booklet in a variety of languages. ~~ CAN IT DO THE JOB? My previous iron finally pakced in when little pieces of plastic holding the water tank became wedged in the side of the tank. This caused the tank to expand slightly, and as aresult, it leaked. This shorted the fuse (13 amp), and as aresult, my fridge, kettle and radio also went off. When I removed the stray pieces of plastic, the problem seemed solved, but I increasingly found ... Read review
