Bosch TDA8353GB
Review of Bosch TDA8353GB by purplepoppy

Advantages: Good quality build, smooth ironing action, auto shutt-off feature
Disadvantages: Bit pricey

...this iron as I believe Bosch are a good quality make. The sensixx comfort secure looks and feels of good build as you would hope to expect. At 2400 watts, it heats up quickly. I was also looking for auto-shut off feature as safety is very important to me. It shuts off at 8 minutes stood upright or 30 seconds if left facing down on the ironing board. It has a pointed tip for precision ironing, approx. 300ml large water tank. The 3 metre long cord ... Read review

RUSSEL HOBBS
Review of Russell Hobbs 12978 by KPN7

Advantages: light, stylish
Disadvantages: more or less everything else

Russel Hobbs are often extremely well made and durable appliances however this is not the case with this product. I'll admit that this iron looks extremely stylish and well made, however it isnt. I personally dont own this product but I bought one for a Christmas present for my friend as a joke and she has being ranting on about it ever since. It has a dial which adjusts the heat for a variety of different textures of clothes such as silk, cotton ...
...heat setting it is on it still seems far too hot for the material. My friend has said that she has burnt more clothes that not with this iron. However the cord is extremely long which I suppose is an advantage (4metres) It doesnt though have a steam shoot which I thought was standard for any iron nowadays. Oh how I was wrong. It is though extremely light which handy I suppose. (I dont do the ironing...if you havent noticed) . I can say however that ... Read review

Only a masochist would consider the Aquamax
Review of Morphy Richards 42345 Aquamax Premium by littlexen

Advantages: The reservoir is easy to fill, the iron is lightweight and easy to hold
Disadvantages: Price, size, time it takes to warm up, cannot retain set temperatures, doesn't remove creases

...The decision to purchase the Morphy Richards 42345 Aquamax was my own so as you will become aware as you continue to read on, the blame rests entirely upon my shoulders. I worked on the theory when deciding to make my purchase that an iron that has a water reservoir to keep the heated iron damp and costing £49.99 would be superior to a cheaper model where water had to be sprayed as I ironed. I am terrible at describing how things look so I have attached ...
...As an iron the Morphy Richards 42345 Aquamax is quite possibly the worst I have ever used and wouldn’t even if in an evil mood recommend one to my worst enemy as I know how angry and frustrated I got trying to use it. In summary, the bad points are: Price Size Takes 10 minutes to warm up It cannot retain temperatures selected Doesn’t remove even light creases On the positive side: The reservoir is easy to fill The iron is lightweight Looking ... My purple iron
Review of Tefal FV5260 by rockchick080

Advantages: Quick and easy to use
Disadvantages: Could perform just as well if it was slightly smaller

This iron is used in my family house hold and was bought by my mother. Since movin out recently i also choose to buy it myself. I was plesently suprised to see that the price was low for this high performanced iron. I'd recommend this iron to everyone because if it is good enough for my clean freak OCD riddin mother then it is good enough for anyone. I find that it is fast and easy to use. I would suggest this especially for students as it is very ... Read review

the steamer of irons
Review of Morphy Richards 40730 by minibus10

Advantages: Turns off automatically if left
Disadvantages: Difficult to fill

My iron is the Morphy Richards Precise Steam Plus and it really is,a constant 40 grams of steam with a shot button of 80 grams really makes ironing those jeans a breeze.I have a lot of ironing with 7 people in my family, I need an iron I feel comfortable with and also quick and easy to use. I first bought this iron 18 months ago but accidently knocked it off the kitchen cupboard and broke the soleplate I liked this iron so much I went to Argos the ...
...pleasantly surprised to find it was on offer in the sale at a price of £24.99p.The safety switch-off system is a real bonus,if left unused it switches off automatically very handy if the phone rings etc,it has an anti scale system a must for me as I live in a hard water area and this prolongs the life of the iron, the handle is comfortable being the ergonomically designed Comfigrip handle and the Ceramic coated soleplate ensures the iron glides over ...
