One spurt = one big smile
Review of Home-Tek HT 611 Garment Steamer Travel by Lunar_see

Advantages: Easy to use, excellent crease removal, lightweight
Disadvantages: None

...travel iron. Then the Home-Tek Travel Streamer Iron was thrust into my hands by a work colleague whom after hearing my moans assured me that if I took care of her precious item I could use it and return it. The Home-Tek Iron is to be blunt shaped like an old fashioned Joystick and looks nothing like an Iron or in fact a travel iron, which I must say look naff and cheap in any capacity. This iron is really lightweight and fits into my travel case ...
...decided to purchase my own. Home-Tek are not a brand I had heard of, so with my basic computer knowledge I managed to find out a little bit about the company using Google and found that they are championed by Ainsley Harriot and make an array of household good from kettles, carpet sweepers, sterilizers and irons to juicing machines, ovens and slow cookers and sell their items in 70 countries worldwide, so they are definitely a brand on the move and ... My purple iron
Review of Tefal FV5260 by rockchick080

Advantages: Quick and easy to use
Disadvantages: Could perform just as well if it was slightly smaller

This iron is used in my family house hold and was bought by my mother. Since movin out recently i also choose to buy it myself. I was plesently suprised to see that the price was low for this high performanced iron. I'd recommend this iron to everyone because if it is good enough for my clean freak OCD riddin mother then it is good enough for anyone. I find that it is fast and easy to use. I would suggest this especially for students as it is very ... Read review

the steamer of irons
Review of Morphy Richards 40730 by minibus10

Advantages: Turns off automatically if left
Disadvantages: Difficult to fill

My iron is the Morphy Richards Precise Steam Plus and it really is,a constant 40 grams of steam with a shot button of 80 grams really makes ironing those jeans a breeze.I have a lot of ironing with 7 people in my family, I need an iron I feel comfortable with and also quick and easy to use. I first bought this iron 18 months ago but accidently knocked it off the kitchen cupboard and broke the soleplate I liked this iron so much I went to Argos the ...
...pleasantly surprised to find it was on offer in the sale at a price of £24.99p.The safety switch-off system is a real bonus,if left unused it switches off automatically very handy if the phone rings etc,it has an anti scale system a must for me as I live in a hard water area and this prolongs the life of the iron, the handle is comfortable being the ergonomically designed Comfigrip handle and the Ceramic coated soleplate ensures the iron glides over ... Kettle
Review of Kenwood ST 060 by blingbruno

Advantages: It boils water
Disadvantages: It doesnt if not told to

The Philips GC 4340 is a precise steam iron which has a special tip so ironing is made easier for those hard to reach places on some garments. I have used the iron a few times and can say that its quite easy to use compared to the iron we had before this one. I'm comparing it on the basis that the iron we had before had a load of different setting for ironing which I found very confusing. The GC 4340 is a solid iron, black and grey in colour. Not ...
...I've only seen this colour. The grip it has is comfortable and isn't too heavy. I think it's a good design for a iron and has a sole ceramic plate so isn't sticky at all, glides very easily when in use. It also has a bright blue LED when its active glowing in the same area were the water in deposited. The functions of the iron are very simple to use and has a built in anti scale system One of the main features of the iron is that it can do a excellent ... Read review

Sweet, sweet vapours!
Review of Comfort Vaporesse Lily and Riceflower by mummy2harry

Advantages: Lovely smell, keeps your iron free from limescale, cheap
Disadvantages: None

...pound shop that they had Comfort Vaporesse in there, I thought for just £1 it would be worth a try. It was the original type that I tried, but I wasn't overly keen on the smell so when in Sainsburys, I checked the laundry aisle and found that there is another fragrance of Vaporesse, yay! Comfort Vaporesse is basically an ironing water which aids ironing, prevents your iron getting clogged up with limescale and helps fragrance your clothes because ...
...nicely his clothes smelt! Comfort Vaporesse is definitely a product which has made my ironing and nicer and much more pleasant experience that it has ever been! The nice smell quickly surrounds you as your iron releases the fragranced water as steam, and it left all of my clothes lightly fragranced and very soft too. The easy pour spout prevents spillages when putting the water into the iron, and the clear bottle allows you to keep an eye on how ... Read review
