Advantages: Light and easily maneouverable Disadvantages: Some small niggles
Its the old story. When my trusty iron of five years faithful service finally packed in, it was time to buy a new one. Loathe to spend to much of my precious weekend and hard earned dosh trawling through the shops, I headed straight to my local Co-op supermarket as they usually stock a bit of kitchenware.
~~ THE BASICS

~~ CAN IT DO THE JOB?
My previous iron finally pakced in when little pieces of plastic holding the water tank became wedged in the side of the tank. This caused the tank to expand slightly, and as aresult, it leaked. This shorted the fuse (13 amp), and as aresult, my fridge, kettle and radio also went off.
When I removed the stray pieces of plastic, the problem seemed solved, but I increasingly found ...

This iron is used in my family house hold and was bought by my mother. Since movin out recently i also choose to buy it myself. I'd recommend this iron to everyone because if it is good enough for my clean freak OCD riddin mother then it is good enough for anyone. I find that it is fast and easy to use. Advantages: It boils water Disadvantages: It doesnt if not told to
The Philips GC 4340 is a precise steam iron which has a special tip so ironing is made easier for those hard to reach places on some garments. I have used the iron a few times and can say that its quite easy to use compared to the iron we had before this one. I'm comparing it on the basis that the iron we had before had a load of different setting for ironing which I found very confusing.
The GC 4340 is a solid iron, black and grey in colour. Not ... ...I've only seen this colour. The grip it has is comfortable and isn't too heavy. I think it's a good design for a iron and has a sole ceramic plate so isn't sticky at all, glides very easily when in use. It also has a bright blue LED when its active glowing in the same area were the water in deposited. The functions of the iron are very simple to use and has a built in anti scale system One of the main features of the iron is that it can do a excellent ...

Advantages: Lovely smell, keeps your iron free from limescale, cheap Disadvantages: None
...pound shop that they had Comfort Vaporesse in there, I thought for just £1 it would be worth a try. It was the original type that I tried, but I wasn't overly keen on the smell so when in Sainsburys, I checked the laundry aisle and found that there is another fragrance of Vaporesse, yay!
Comfort Vaporesse is basically an ironing water which aids ironing, prevents your iron getting clogged up with limescale and helps fragrance your clothes because ... ...nicely his clothes smelt!
Comfort Vaporesse is definitely a product which has made my ironing and nicer and much more pleasant experience that it has ever been! The nice smell quickly surrounds you as your iron releases the fragranced water as steam, and it left all of my clothes lightly fragranced and very soft too. The easy pour spout prevents spillages when putting the water into the iron, and the clear bottle allows you to keep an eye on how ...
