...middle eastern feeling. Poison Sweet Madeira is another mostly fast paced track, which is really dramatic. The violin is accompanied by harps and an arcordian which to me gives it a French feeling in parts. Quite the opposite, Burnt By The Sun is a bit more melow and sounds samba inspired. What's an amazing when I first listened to Ella's song; this is really a good singer that you can't find now a day. She sings with her soul and feeling. Her voice is so warm and in a natural mode of presentation. ...a sense of fun. Besame Mucho: The title track and a jazz/Latin standard. He plays this slightly differently from any other version I have heard. For a start he plays it so high it is sometimes difficult to realise it is sax and not trumpet. Then there is the embellishment of melody, which is really very clever. Mind Transplant was an album by Alphonse Mouzon featuirng Tommy Bolin. The strange character that is Alphonse - a jazz fusion drummer who is of Afro-American, French and Blackfoot Indian descent oozes funkiness.
