Morphy Richards 43005 Jug Kettle
Review of Morphy Richards 43005 by Morrs

Advantages: Appearance, good clear level indicator
Disadvantages: lid design

Overall it's not too bad a product. It's a kettle. It boils water, what more can be expected of it? Supplied on the near ubiquitous swivel base its general construction appears robust and placing it on the base is simple with a good stable seating position. The cord from the base can to a small extent be lengthened or shorted by concealing portions of it below the base to help keep your counters tidy. Capacity at 1.7 litres is pretty normal and ...
...A clear and useful level indicator is placed on the side of the kettle, however this is only on one side and so may not suit all kitchen layouts. The interior is manufactured in plastic, with a stainless steel base concealing the element. Both base and sidewalls appear to resist the collection of limescale very well. Fitted with a rapid boil system is does so quite quickly which is clearly appreciated. Balance in the hand is not fantastic. Pouring ... Read review

A fine kettle of water
Review of Morphy Richards 43010 by silverstreak

Advantages: Stylish appearance, convenient for left and right handed users, safety cut-out mechanism
Disadvantages: Expensive, beech wood can be damaged by boiling water

...as well as on the Morphy Richards website and the price is now a considerably higher £69.99 across the board. Each of these stores will deliver it free of charge, however. I admit we were attracted to this model for purely cosmetic reasons - it's a very elegant looking jug kettle, made from stainless steel according to the manufacturer, although I'd be inclined to describe it as dark grey brushed chrome. Stainless steel conjures up an image of being ...
...in pursuing this problem with Morphy Richards, since the fault was clearly ours, and fortunately we've positioned the unit where the mark can't be seen, and we're now careful to clear up spillages immediately they happen. We're very satisfied with the performance of our kettle - although it has a 3 litre capacity, it isn't huge, and doesn't look out of place on the worktop in our kitchen. It boils quickly, and whilst it's a fraction noisier eighteen ... Read review

Morphy Richards manhattan 43015 Chrome Kettle
Review of Morphy Richards 43015 Manhattan by adictivepie

Advantages: Design, Looks,Boiling speed,Blue light
Disadvantages: Water level indicator, Filling ability

...low we settled on the Morphy Richards Manhattan Kettle to replace our other Morphy Richards Kettle 43120 Glass Please read the review on the 43120 when i post is as it is a dangerous kettle Anyway back to the new Manhattan The kettle is finished in a highly polished shiney chrome which actually resists finger prints very well so it stays cleaner. It gives the appearance of being very tall and slim and in the shop it looked a bit odd but when we ...
...a double cool wall and for those who are worrined as it is metal and conducting heat from the water don't. Yes its gets warm but not hot enough to scold if you accidently touch it. When the kettle is put on to boil there is a funky blue light which lights up the water level indicator on both sides. One draw back is the water level indicator is difficult to read where the level is as the window is very thin. You get used to the cup indicator rather ... Read review

* KETTLE - not a hair dryer! . .
Review of Morphy Richards 43025 by smudgeybabes

Advantages: Good, smart. It works.
Disadvantages: Overpriced.

. . Morphy Richards 43025 Jug kettle. Good old Morphy Richards, set up in 1936 by Donal Morphy and Charles Richards. OK, to set the scene, the "outlaws" needed a new kettle, and I was detailed off to take the to the shops, something I don't like but has to be done. My method would be to sit down at home with a cuppa, pick one from the Argos catalogue or similar, then go collect it. - NO! - apparently It has to be "seen" and "felt" before being ...

Dualit Kettle
Review of Dualit 72302 S/S Cream JUG by emmag32

Advantages: Looks the business!
Disadvantages: Perhaps the price?

I have been using this kettle for around four months now and I've very pleased with the look, design and performance. We needed a new kettle and having been given some vouchers for John Lewis decided upon this kettle which was higher in price than we may have otherwise paid. I really like to sleek design and the colour fits perfectly with our kitchen. The kettle feels sturdy and is easy to clean. This model also covers a smaller surface area than ...
...another review I noticed that they found the boiling time unacceptable, I've timed mine (out of curiosity because I hadn't noticed this) having filled the kettle to max and flicked the switch, it boiled in 2.35 - this is acceptable to me, especially as I don't boil a full kettle on a regular basis. I wouldn't strongly recommend this product, neither would I steer you away from it, because that's your decision to make. I can only present my experience, ... Read review
