I'm off Microsoft now
Review of A4Tech Ergo A-Shape KBS-2548RP - keyboard , mouse by
Happymama
Advantages: Cost, and ease of use
Disadvantages: Tell you in a year or so's time
My old (wired) MS ergonomic keyboard started transposing keys, not a problem when there's only 2 keys involved, but more of a chore when there's four or more, so I started looking around for another ergonomic keyboard. Cost is an issue for me, and all the cordless keyboards at first glance (high street) are around £70-100 including mouse(which I don't need). So onto the internet I went. Cue A4 Tech's offering in this market. Firstly, a little upon ... ...get sore wrists, so need the ergonomic keyboard, and they do work! I spend a lot of time at my pc, as I work from home for a newspaper. When my children are old enough I want to return to the real world, and will start with agency work. This will involve a typing test, and I've tried moving straight from my ergonomic keyboard to a straight one - felt like I had twelve fingers! From 70 wpm to 32 in one (or more) stroke (weak pun). So any typing test ...

Review of Keyboard Company Flexible mini (roll-up) keyboard KBC-50086 - keyboard by
Skisy
Advantages: Flexible, spill resistant
Disadvantages: Need flat surface, may stop working
I bought this keyboard because I thought it would be ideal to carry around to connect to terminals and machines without a decent keyboard, like servers and laptops. I also used it for my Xbox 360 to speed up typing things in. It served me very well for quite a while. Although it takes up more room than you might imagine once rolled up, infact a normal mini keyboard might fit in things like bags better because it's flat.
I found it very useful that ... ...on your lap etc... this keyboard is extremely difficult to use.
It's not easy to break however, at least by snapping etc.. that's the benefit of it being flexible of course. Although after a few months (about 6) half of the keyboard just stopped working. I'm not sure why this happened, I know it doesn't like heavy objects on it but I don't remember it being stood on or underneath any dictionaries at all.
The novelty factor won me over to buy this ...

Microsoft Wireless Desktop With Fingerprint Reader
Review of Microsoft Wireless Optical Desktop with Fingerprint Reader - keyboard , mouse by
blackhawk204
Advantages: Fingerprint reader, shortcut keys, design, wireless mouse.
Disadvantages: Keyboard is not wireless.
Fantastic, Fantastic, Fantastic!
Does exactly what it says on the tin. Another great product from Microsoft, now with fingerprint recognition. No more do you have to worry about the kids using the computer while you are out, with the built-in fingerprint they won't get far!
Comes with the software required for the reader to function correctly.
The reader is so handy, no longer do you have to enter your log-in deatils time and time again, simply ... ...press the fingerprint reader, fill in the deatils on screen, and there you have it! Next time you wish to log into that particular site, simply load it up, press the reader and you're logged in! It stores your details for each site securely on your computer and you have to log-in to amend/view these details which adds to the security that this keyboard offers.
The layout of the keyboard is perfect, with the addition of the ''Office'' key shortcuts, ...

Labtech Wireless Keyboard and Mouse review
Review of Labtec Ultra-Flat Wireless Desktop keyboard , mouse by
Marky-aCe
Advantages: Wireless
Disadvantages: Power Use
...just got my new The Labtec Ultra-Flat Wireless Keyboard and mouse for a good price from my local Morrison's. So, what do I think of it so far?
Well to be honest I am presently typing this on my old hard wired keyboard and mouse, the reason? Is that after just two days of moderate use the batteries have gone flat in the mouse and has become unusable! My last keyboard of this type had the same problem and I thought it was just a problem with the manufacturer ... ...just two days like the Labtec one.
One more problem I found with this set-up and a very important one for game players was even on brand new power cells, if you are playing a game like Battlefield, whereby you need to keep a key pressed to run forward this keyboard stops transmitting after just a few seconds as it needs to charge the power back up again and this takes a few seconds and can mean instant death in games.
So my conclusion about this ...

A great product for a great price
Review of Trust XpertTouch Wireless Optical Multimedia Deskset DS-3250 UK - keyboard , mouse by
EVIT
Advantages: long range infrared, lots of functions, good looking, easy to install
Disadvantages: none
...available. I imediately spotted this Trust product but not knowing if trust-worthy or not (pun intended). Let me say, this product is just GREAT! Installation was the easiest on XP. The mouse is infrared, both mouse and keyboard are of course infrared and they can be placed VERY far from the source. The instructions are very short but very helpful, be sure to follow carefully the few steps listed. Lots of fully-working functions both on the mouse ... ...buttons including volume, internet, stand-by/reset/shut-down). The look of this set is great too, the keyboard is rectangular as I like it and the shape of the mouse is the most comfortable I've ever owned. I seriously suggest any person who is looking for a wireless set to run and buy this product because it's just great and exceptional value for money, considering also that many wireless product don't allow distances further than your desk while ...
