Review of Samsung SyncMaster 740N by Ajish

Advantages: Stylish design,Needs less space,High quality image, low power consumption,Relatively inexpensive
Disadvantages: The only disadvantage is that it looks dim when looking from the end side.

I bought samsung syncmaster one year ago and from my point of view this 17"monitor is really good. And the most unique feature is that its sleek and smooth designing tempts anyone. It requires minimum space. It even supports fast moving games and also movies very well.It is relatively inexpensive compared to other LCD monitors. It does not produce too much radiation and hence less eye strain. The wide viewing angle(160 degree) of this monitor really works ... Acer x221w 22" TFT - good because of price
Review of Acer X221W by panther23

Advantages: Price, design,
Disadvantages: for this price not point to be to picky

...mount it on a wall. Acer has an analogue (VGA) signal input. Acer compliant following standards:- ISO 13406-2, TCO '99 Display Resolution as we know is an important issue in monitors, because as higher it is as more specific picture can be, more thinks can be displayed at the same time and so on. This one offers maximum of 1680 x 1050 pixels which is good enough for standard use +. Brightness is 300 cd/m2 and it is a weak point but not crucial. ...
...watch, TV or DVD. Acer offers good quality for reasonable price. It is good but obviously not the best one like other top shelf more expensive monitors. I can recommend it for its price and quality it offers, simplicity, design and size. Please rate my review and leave comment possibly. Thank you. ... Read review

Hah, who needs HDMI?
Review of LG W2452T by markthemillenium123

Advantages: Quality. pure and simple.
Disadvantages: No HDMI, or wall obvious wall mounting options

When I bought this from PC World, I mistook the HDCP badge on the front to mean HDMI, so I was initially disappointed when I got it home. since it has only vga and dvi. Once I switched it on, I was no longer disappointed. using a HDMI to DVI cable (from sainsburys, so not rare) I connected it to my xbox360 and watched a HD-DVD at 1080p. pin sharp and better than my 32". I forgot all about returning it, and remain pleased with it 2 months later. ...
...back. I think it can be done, but not using my current wall mount. Games look great. and as a PC monitor, it is, well, beautiful. as well as the huge 1920 resolution, it has a pin sharp display, with text easily readable at default font sizes. It is quite thick compared to my 22" monitor, probably around 4" at the widest point, but it still looks very good, with a shiny black finish. I was considering a cheaper 24" make than this, but they couldnt ... Read review

Disadvantages: had some problems to find proper drivers

I have this monitor for over one year and do have to admit, that haven't had any problems at all. Lookd beautifully on a desk, even thought it has 22" doesn't take a lot of space. It has a: * Screen Resolution of 1680x1050 * Response Time: 5ms * Brightness: 300cd/m2 * Contrast: 2500:1 * TFT Flat Screen Display * 0.282 Pixel Pitch * Viewing Angle 170°/160° * VGA Input * Internal Power Supply * Wall Mountable I keep watching all my dvd's ...
...some simple graphic design and this monitor does it all perfectly. You can buy separetely wall mountable accesories and hang it to save your working space. It is a big value for money. For this range of price I can recomend it to all. Please don't forget to rate this review. Thank you ... Read review

A Clear performance for Verona
Review of Hannspree Verona 22" by natty250

Advantages: A Cheap, but good performing LCD monitor
Disadvantages: Contrast ratio could be improved

I've had my 22" Hannspree Verona for a while now, and I've only got a good opinion of it. I purchased it from Misco for £145, where I also added an HDMI cable. That's right - It has both VGA and HDMI connection sockets.. Whether you want to hook it up to your PC (my graphics card has an HDMI port) or your DVD player you can do it with the increased clarity afforded by HDMI. ***Features*** The monitor itself boasts several features in addition to ...
...x 1050 there is ample of space on the desktop, and allows for a large display area. It features a contrast ratio of 1000:1, and an image brightness of 300cd/m2. Whilst the contrast ratio isn't the best out on the market, it is more than sufficient for most daily tasks (If you use its dynamic contrast then you can increase this to 2500:1, but I couldn't personally concern much of a difference). It suffers most in the playback of dark scenes in movies; ... Read review
