This TV is fantastic, I've now had mine for 3 weeks and could not be happier with it. I switched from a Samsung 32" 720p and the difference in picture quality at 1080p is amazing. The set up of the TV is a little bit troublesome and it had me fooled until I worked out that it sometimes doesn't recognise an HDMI connection unless you turn it off and then on again. Other than that, the standby light and red back look great, picture quality is fantastic ...

Disadvantages: Currently Overpriced compared to rivals, disappointing picure for price.

Unfortunately sony are missing the mark quite dramatically with their newer tvs. Yes they are still good on standard definition, and yes they do look stunning when displaying blue ray due to the 1080p output but when compared to similar spec'd tvs at much lower prices they start to look a lot less attractive. Current prices mean that in some cases you can get a better tv for less money. For example in john lewis this tv is selling for £799, whereas ...

Disadvantages: Slow response from remote controll to television.

My experience with this tv so far has been excellent. I have had this tv for a year now and no problems what so ever. Its a really user friendly tv with excellent picture quality. The brightness and contrast can be set easily to what you desire with minimum fuss. The tv itself is very durable and i can see it lasting a long time if looked after. However its not a perfect buy.
