...rated the old Powerbook from Apple but not yet this little black Macbook. It is "faster", has audio in, wireless internet, a brighter screen, a better power connector and a whole range of excellent software delivered with it. The surface is more resistant to scratches than the old "Titanium" Powerbook, I throw my tools around a lot and do not want to handle them like a holy bible ;-) Bad Points: The screen no longer folds back as far as the "Titanium" ...
...to persuade Monsieur Lawrence of Apple Service in France to exchange the French keyboard for a QWERTY one free of charge. He was also kind enough to send me the latest "Leopard" (OS10.5) disk since the display model I had bought had the old "Tiger" 10.4.10. Since I work with multimedia and am very impressed with the software delivered with iLife (disk included with the Apple products) I was disappointed to see that most of the items which are of ... Apple MacBook Pro Core 2 Duo 2.5 GHz - 17" TFT
Review of Apple MacBook Pro Core 2 Duo 2.5 GHz - 17" TFT by pieceofmind

Advantages: nice screen, good battery life, fast specs
Disadvantages: large size (price?)

Apple mac-books, where to start... ok, so to start, it is an apple, that means you get a solid quality product and on the whole very good customer are. this particualar apple is deffinatly more suited to being a media center than other laptops. At first glance you realise that it is a fairly large laptop, this allows for a big screen, which being an apple ffers clear vivid displays, unfortunatly the big screen increases the overal size and also ...
...very good for an entertainment laptop. The laptops technical specs include a very fast 2.5 ghz dual core proccesor which is very fast, the dual core allows it to tackle multiple tasks quicly as well as increasing the overall speed of the laptop. The price is quite steep however, but i believe, if given the money, it is probably one of the best laptops to go for all the best If you found this rating helpful, please give it an EXEPTIONAL rating ... Worlds most desirable, hi-performance laptop? !!
Review of Fujitsu Siemens LifeBook E8410 - Core 2 Duo T8300 2.4 GHz - 15.4" TFT by gtsang123

Advantages: Style, high performance, biometrics, fast bootup, extremely high specs
Disadvantages: Heavy @ 2.6kg, MSOffice 2007 provided is trial version

Wow. We first came across this baby while looking for a laptop for a friend of mine, while in Hong Kong. There were a couple of notable changes: - there was a promotion, which upgraded the RAM to 3GB. - the promotion also threw in what it calls an HD-TV USB stick, which turns out to be a digital tv tuner. It is HD (High-Definition) - as long as you can output it (e.g. on an HD TV screen!) We were told that this was the only brand being sourced ...
...tested the machine prior to buying it of course, and we added a couple of extras - mainly MS Office 2007 and a bluetooth mouse (which we won't cover, as they were additional). In short: - The laptop came well-packaged and suspended in polystrene - When logging in, you can use a password - or you can use your fingerprint! Put your finger on the biometric scanner, and it logs you in! Awesome! - The keyboard is responsive and the keys have the right ... Read review

Review of Fujitsu Siemens LifeBook S6410 - Core 2 Duo T7300 2 GHz - 13.3" TFT by techno_man_37

Advantages: portability
Disadvantages: price tag

...to spend it on. This Fujitsu Siemens LifeBook S6410 is a quite new type of laptop from the fujitsu siemens brand. These new laptops are called lifebook, and are especially designed for portability and super quick running speeds. The design of this laptop is fantastic, its combination of three main colours makes it look a lot more modern than some of its predecessors and gives it a cool edge over its rivals. A business mans laptop that looks cool ...
...how to get this balance, fujitsu however have, and it really shows. The plastic section around the screen is black, and is also strong and sturdy, the body of the laptop is silver with a nice grey keypad that stands out from the laptop and the bottom of the laptop and sides of the laptop are also black, it really is a stunning looking laptop. This one in particular is quite quick saying it only has 1gb or ram, it’s a shame it doesn’t ... Read review

Review of HP Compaq Mobile Workstation 8710w by cobainkurdt

Advantages: HDMI port !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Disadvantages: HEAVY! and to be frank UGLY!!!!!!!!!

I myself do not own this product. However my friends owns this particular product and I use it very frequently. This laptop is great for playing games with its seventeen inch HD screen, even better for watching movies, great for surfing the internet as it has 2.4 GHZ (Giga Hertz ) processor speed. There is enough memory ( 2GB) and it includes Windows XP Professional. Not only does it contain these excellent range of features, it also includes : innovative ...
...the option to run Windows Vista. I myself do agree that looks and design wise this product does not cut it - in short its not pleasant to look at every time you go to upon it up to finish off you dissertation! # Nevertheless the innovative touchpanel can be used to launch a variety of applications and adjust volume which reduces time and effort. With regards to graphics: nVidia's Quadro FX 1600M is a brilliant chip for watching movies and playing ... Read review
