Review of Fujitsu Siemens AMILO Pro V2055 Edition - Celeron M 410 1.46 GHz - 15.4" TFT by daffyduckdumbo

Advantages: not very many
Disadvantages: all listed in the review:)

it comes with a slow £256mb memory and only a £40 GB hard drive. slow graphics but ok for watching movies on. if you plan to buy an ipod of somesort morethan "20gb then this laptop will give you grief. the screen quality is ok for viwing but is very flimsy it is fat and heavy. but the laptop is perfect for a first student laptop or for a griwing child to have. this laptop is available in a vast price range ...i was silly and aid £400 but i know its ...
...if its a laptop you want for a long time and it is replacing a desktop thn i'de recommend you save up more and wait to buy a nice light good looking functipnal and basically a better laptop because personally if i only had £300 and i was considering buying a latop i'de go on ebay, cheap dell or i'de buy second hand because this laptop isn't so great for a person who needs it for a lot of storage work etc. plus it only comes with a 1yr warranty. this ... A great laptop
Review of Fujitsu Siemens ESPRIMO Mobile V5515 - Celeron M 520 1.6 GHz - 15.4" TFT by ilauuk

Advantages: Price, spec
Disadvantages: Unknown durability

This laptop has been selling pretty cheaply at Ebuyer recently. I'd like to say a few things that I feel are important to know about this laptop before buying it. Firstly, the spec is more than up to running 95% of programs in common use today. The dual core processor means that you get 2 processors for the price of one, effectively. The one problem that it has, which many cheaper laptops share, is that it comes with limited memory. However, in ...
...easy to buy an upgrade fairly cheaply, at £14 from Ebuyer. This upgrade sped up the computer quite significantly. Overall, the computer runs well and for the time being seems to be OK. The main downside to using this laptop is that I worry that it will break down on me because it's not made by a manufacturer known for good quality ... Read review

Esprimo...Not So Bad As People Make Out!
Review of Fujitsu Siemens ESPRIMO Mobile V5535 - Celeron M 530 1.73 GHz - 15.4" TFT by Luke180

Advantages: Sleek And Robust!
Disadvantages: Not Good For Gaming!

I brought this laptop and was very satisfied with it. There are some positives and some negatives to the product. I will start with the disadvantages. It is not as fast as a laptop which has an Intel Core Duo Processor as this product contains a Intel Celeron M. a Core Duo means it can do the 2 things at the same time at the same speed 1 thing would be done on the equivalent Celeron M. I went to get this changed in mine to a Core Duo but it cannot ...
...so please be aware before you buy to get the one that you would like. Also the video card is not good and on the Windows Opta Index Rating it is given 1.0 which is poor and again in this computer cannot be updated unless at a higher cost than a new laptop. Again seriously consider! The battery life is very poor on this machine on high performance it last only 1 Hour and 3 Minutes. There are many advantages to the product with its sleek design ... HP DV6599 Special Edition - Good All Rounder
Review of HP Pavilion Media Center dv6599ea Special Edition Entertainment - Core 2 Duo T7300 2 GHz - 15.4" TFT by marcus997

Advantages: Features, size and design
Disadvantages: Not good enough for gaming

...me. As a fan of HP products, I chose from the DV6500 range available at the time. This laptop had every spec I required for both using as a station for university assignments, as well as home use for music, film and gaming. Firstly, the design is eye-catching. I was bored of looking at the generic black or grey and thought the white anti-scratch surface was ideal. The laptop is also quite light and the absense of a locking clip meant there was less ...
...more than my money's worth! HP also frequently offer discounts so it's always worth checking to see what deals are to be had. As well as the remote control that is stored away when not in use, another of my favourite features is the fingerprint reader. When you use the internet on a frequent basis, remembering usernames and passwords can be frustrating. For anyone who hops from website to website, I'd highly recommend this feature. Thankfully I ... Does an excellent job for most day to day tasks
Review of Toshiba Equium A200-26D - Core 2 Duo T5450 1.66 GHz - 15.4" TFT by s32bauer

Advantages: Good looks, most basic equipment you would need, able to handle most programs
Disadvantages: Not suitable for games, some aspects feel cheap

...However, I will warn that Toshiba have placed quite a lot of branding on the software. The Toshiba wallpaper is easy to get rid of, but there are numerous 'memory eating' programs that Toshiba claim to help your laptop - they do nothing worthwhile. Certainly nothing that Windows can't do better. Separate programs for controlling the touch pad aren't required, and uninstalling all of this non-essential software frees up storage space and memory. ...
...ethernet port for my internet, and have had no issues with either. The ethernet is very straight forward plug and play, and connects to your ISP in seconds. The display is extremely crisp and sharp, and the brightness can be changed to suite your needs (and energy consumption). On the subject of energy consumption, this laptop isn't too bad compared to some I have used. I can run my laptop in high performance mode using wireless LAN for internet, ... Read review
