Review of Acer Aspire 1642WLMi - Pentium M 735 1.7 GHz - 15.4" TFT by Doni07

Advantages: Easy to use
Disadvantages: Quite bulky.

...are. First of all, the Acer Aspire has an amazing speed of 1.7GHz which is the average speed for most computers. It has an Intel Pentium M Processor which doesn't seem alot, but for just 16 inches of plastic and components, that is quite good. The Aspire still has all the original features you would normally find in a computer but it has the added advantage of being portable whether it be 16 inches or a tiny 12 inches, it's still portable. It has ...
...laptop. Disadvantages The Acer Aspire has a satisfactory monitor size of 15.4 inches but because of that, it makes the laptop very bulky and hard to carry about. Carry cases are handy for when you want to travel with your laptop, but be aware of the size. As time and generationsare moving on, I think that Taiwan have to seriously think about the type of processor they use on their pieces of equipment because the Acer Aspire only has a mere Intel ... ASPIRE to the best in affordable luxury
Review of Acer Aspire 1642ZWLMi - Pentium M 735A 1.7 GHz - 15.4" TFT by lorajane

Advantages: Sleek, Stylish and Affordable
Disadvantages: Battery Life

The Acer Aspire 1642ZWLMi is a credit to its makers. On first look, its sleek and stylish exterior will please any eye and on opening the great impression just keeps on growing. The interior is stylish in a combination of black and silver with a very comfortable space surrounding the keyboard and mouse, allowing the wrists to remain easily supported. The mouse touch pad is large with two buttons and a scrolling device. Attracting the most attention ...
...very useful programs exclusive to Acer including Acer GridVista. This allows the easy organisation of a number of files on your computer desktop at once without the need for constant moving and resizing. Acer also has its own program for changin all the settings of the computer from the deasktop. This feature is very visual with lots of graphics, making understanding your system easy for any user. Acer arcade is the software that allow you to make ... Read review

Acer Aspire 1644WLMi
Review of Acer Aspire 1644WLMi - Pentium M 760 2 GHz - 15.4" TFT by MadPierre

Advantages: Great screen, reliable, nice lookingunit
Disadvantages: wirelessbutton on front easy to switch off when on lap

...The supplied software tools Acer Arcade, eManager etc are intuitive and easy to use and surprisingly useful. The only drawback I can say is that pesky Wireless on/off button at the front - under normal circumstances I don't have a problem, but occasionally catch it (big gut!) and switch it off. However it tells you so that isn't too bad! I can certainly recommend it ... Read review

Great Computer
Review of Acer Aspire 1654WLMi - Pentium M 760 2 GHz - 15.4" TFT by Phildo_da_Vinci

Advantages: Total Reliability
Disadvantages: Guilt due to the total value for the money

...This light and powerfull Acer Aspire was the complete solution to all of my needs. After two months, Day-to-Day operations on my little buddy include: video transcoding (2-3 hours per day), video editing (one hour per day), web design (1-2 hours) and the rest can be considered general use. I bought this computer for about 1000 euro in Italy as a general consumer, but it's worth way more to myself as a business user. I was hung up about buying ... Read review

Macbook: The Only Choice
Review of Apple MacBook Core 2 Duo 2.1 GHz - 13.3" TFT by chids

Advantages: Looks, Simplicity, Works out-of-the-box, battery life, power
Disadvantages: Case feels a little cheap, Screen attracts fingerprints

...Macbook was purchased direct from Apple and took just two days to arrive. And, as promised, it worked straight out of the box. I just pressed power filled out my user details and i was going. The setup hooked me onto my wireless internet and i was away. The first thing that struck me was the size of the thing, it's only slightly thicker than an average sized hardback notepad and weighs just over 2 kg, in other words it's a perfect size. Before the ...
...is very clean and crisp. Apple really has gone above and beyond with this one, it's perfect. The 13,3 inch glossy screen is great for watching movies. Just a note for skeptical readers: the glossy screen rarely (if ever) reflects anything in the background. When it comes to using the Macbook in a brightly lit area or outside there is less reflection than there would be on a Matte display. Battery life on the Macbook. Is better than almost all other ...
