Now I wouldn't call this a laptop, Id call this a machine. The sheer size of this beast makes it less portable for a laptop, but makes it great as a replacement desktop which will no doubt runs as fast and take up a lot less room. However the screen being this size does make the laptop really less portable, however it still wouldn't be impossible to take this laptop where ever you want and I think the features it has makes up for this small downside. I don't really know that much about computers, so this review is from a completely technologically retarded person, but I'm sure there are other people out there that are the same! I have had this laptop over four years now, and the laptop itself is five years old, and it is still going strong. This laptop is fantastic, it has served me so well, and hopefully will keep on doing so! I have filled it with a lot of rubbish, and still it works as fast ...
...haven't had a single problem with it in all the time that I have had it. I have dropped it, kicked it, banged it and split things on it over the last four years, and it still works, and doesn't look any worse for all the abuse it has had. It copes with me simultaneously researching on the internet, writing up documents, storing pictures and so on. I had the model down from this one, so i cant review it specifically, but this model was purely an upgrade from the predeccessor, and my girlfriend sells this at her work, a well known PC superstore, there is a big interest apparently, and she reckons its brilliant, good value for money, and far superior to the one before. I am a fan of Acer products, I bought another recently which I am very happy with and decided to go with the TravelMate for my partners birthday present. ...little older version of the acer travel mate 6292. this travelmate, like the others is also designed for buisness people on the move. although this is the smallest and sleekist laptop from the acer line, this laptop still isnt as sleek and cool as some of the other new laptops out their on the market today. the TravelMate 6292 weighs less than 2kg with its 6-cell battery in place which i think you will agree is a really nice leight weight laptop, ...
