...I tell you this because Apple try to "screw you over" somewhat, as they offer three different models of the MBP. Let me explain. There are two versions of the 15.4" model, the second one having a 2.5GHz processor and a 250GB hard drive. The other difference you might notice if you look closely is that the processor cache size is 6MB not 3MB. Six is a bigger number than three, so the smaller one must be rubbish! It boots up quickly, shuts down quicker, and goes to sleep (and wakes up again!) in a well behaved manner. I've never had any problems with it running slowly, or even crashing for that matter. HP Pavilion HDX is made to be on the desk at home rather than have it on your legs because of its weight. It is really crowded by high-tech features. This device is great entertaiment centre for your home, but on teh other hand the display has not the full esolution of HD DVD - 1080p. Anyway it is good decission to make one device for playing video, work and computer games. HDX has the design of the entrtaiment laptops from HP with simillar black-silver ...
...The highest measure of closed HDX is 4826mm and it weights nice 16 pounds without adapter:) It is the heaviest laptop i have ever seen. So i think it is possible to transfer it between rooms or take it to your holiday with car but not to travel with it by public transport every day. Yes. This is a very expensive machine but it is well worth it. I bought it equipped with two 8700GT NVIDIA cards and it was well worth it. IT is able to play all of the games out at the moment with ease. But only when plugged into the wall which, is no easy matter with the massive brick of a changer.
