Advantages: very very good specs
Disadvantages: a bit bulky

...to talk about the company, Acer has been going quite a long time now, but their customer service is only just satisfactory, should this put you off buying it? NO! For around £80 you can get a 3 year warranty that is quite frankly supurb. Acer TravelMate 5720
Review of Acer TravelMate 5720-603G25Mn - Core 2 Duo T7500 2.2 GHz - 15.4" TFT by pieceofmind

Advantages: GREAT SPECS, good os, great price
Disadvantages: none really... maybe too few usbs... but none really!

Acer is a reliable company, they offer good customer support an good products. This fantastic laptop is n exeption, it offers speed, memory and great connectability, as well as a very reasonable price for what you are getting... Now, windows vista was given a very bad press when it first came out,it had terrible connectivity problems and basically wasn't up to scratch, since then they have worked flat out to get vista back on track. Vista now for ...
...computing. Vista itself has many advantages over window - extra security - easier management of files and a more uer friendly and aestheticl pleasing feel. I am a proud user of Vista Home Premium. Now, onto the actual computer, It really is a very high spec computer witha lot packed into a fairly small laptop. It has 3gb of ram which allows lots of programs to be opened without the system crashing, more ram also increases battery life as the hard ... Read review

HP Laptop - Good Notebook for small businesses
Review of HP Compaq Business Notebook 6715s - Turion 64 X2 TL-58 1.9 GHz - 15.4" TFT by dickmaister

Advantages: quick, value for money
Disadvantages: not the best looking, no special add ons (no built in webcam etc.)

I was given this laptop a few days ago...with Windows vista. I have had experience with vista so it was not that hard to get used to. However this was vista business so it did not come with the windows games which you are used to. With a dual core 1.9Ghz processor, this machine is quick...ideal for all your business needs. For personal use it is also great for games such as Football Manager 2008 and so good it can cope with games such as the Sims. ...
...as Inkball is such a great game. It can play DVDs with built in Intervid dvd watching Kingdom of Heaven on it just today. I recommend this for small businesses and for those who do not mind losing out to minesweeper solitaire hearts and the likes. Great Battery time...not the best looking but good value for money ... ...After I had used the HP Tablet TC4400 model at work I knew it had to be a tablet PC. For those of you that are not aware of the term 'tablet PC'. It refers to a laptop where you can turn the screen and place it flat on the keyboard with the screen face-up. This turns it into a type of notebook that you can use to write on by using the specially supplied stylus pen. Users of a PDA will be familiar with a stylus. You can use it in this mode to surf ... A Serious waste of energy.
Review of Gateway M6824 by demonbarak

Advantages: Well specced
Disadvantages: wrong OS for machine, poor layout

Ok, So, I needed a cheap laptop to do while my computer was being reworked. And what a mistake this one turned out to be! Its slow, unreliable, difficult to type on.... but let me explain. I paid over three hundred pounds for this machine. And in all honesty, thirty would have been overpaying. Features wise its not too bad - wireless, decent quality screen, good keyboard action. Unfortunately, this is more than offset by the little niggles. Vista ...
...cope absolutely fine with XP, but Vista hogs so much of its meagre gig of memory that nothing runs fullspeed. Its not compatable with so many of the programs and games I know and love... the list of niggles with vista is endless. The layout - Oh dear god, but whoever designed this machine clearly did not use their brain! You physically cannot type without knocking the mousepad, which flips you out of the program you're typing into and causes havoc. ... Read review
