...to talk about the company, Acer has been going quite a long time now, but their customer service is only just satisfactory, should this put you off buying it? NO! For around £80 you can get a 3 year warranty that is quite frankly supurb. I was given this laptop a few days ago...with Windows vista. I have had experience with vista so it was not that hard to get used to. However this was vista business so it did not come with the windows games which you are used to. With a dual core 1.9Ghz processor, this machine is quick...ideal for all your business needs. For personal use it is also great for games such as Football Manager 2008 and so good it can cope with games such as the Sims. ...

Ok, So, I needed a cheap laptop to do while my computer was being reworked. And what a mistake this one turned out to be! Its slow, unreliable, difficult to type on.... but let me explain. ...cope absolutely fine with XP, but Vista hogs so much of its meagre gig of memory that nothing runs fullspeed. Its not compatable with so many of the programs and games I know and love... the list of niggles with vista is endless.
