A tablet PC at an easy to swallow pricepoint.
Review of HP Pavilion tx2130ea Entertainment - Turion 64 X2 TL-60 - 12.1" TFT by Englebert_Fliegenende

Advantages: Cheapest tablet PC by far, feature packed, HP quality & support.
Disadvantages: Keyboard delicate. HDD slow. Vista.

For the price, this is a very nice piece of kit overall. The touchscreen works with the stylus or a finger, which is unusual for a tablet. The unit feels reasonably robust, with the exception of the keyboard, which is not brilliant. Losing a key is way too easy, while reattaching the key when you find it is way too hard. The hinge & pivot mechanism of the screen feel nice & solid. The back of the screen (top of the closed unit) feels like it gives ...
...from Staples and shipped both with a 4 and a 6cell battery, the latter making the laptop rise at the rear - good in keyboard mode, a bit awkward in tablet mode. Nonetheless handy for being able to travel without the power brick. The multimedia features are good (both HP's Quickplay and MS Media Center), with a nice front end and an IR remote, which is a bit fiddly, but stows away nicely in the expresscard slot when not in use. The speakers are of ... Read review

Review of HP Pavilion dv6799ea Special Edition Entertainment - Core 2 Duo T8100 2.1 GHz - 15.4" TFT by RalphMarch1

Advantages: Fast and great for watching films
Disadvantages: Battry life aint great for me anyway

This is a sexy smart looking laptop it's really easy to use. I found this laptop quick on loading programs and fast on the internet. The picture quality is not too bad either. The keys are nice to type on and the touch screen mouse is really responsive. I only use mine for the internet and sometimes for work spend a lot of time watching movies on it the DVD play is really fast and films run smooth no stopping to load all the time battery life could ...
...which is rubbish if you're not near a plug and your film is 3 hours long. I have to say I didn't wait and fully charge my battery up when I bought it and I have been told that why the battery life is poor. so wait till your battery is full charged before playing ... Read review

HP DV9655EA, The Modern Life
Review of HP Pavilion Media Center dv9655ea Entertainment - Turion 64 X2 TL-60 - 17" TFT by rally1998

Advantages: Everything, AMD Dual Core, Graphics, Looks, Performance, Specs
Disadvantages: None

The HP DV9655ea. As a small business owner (I.T) I have to have a Laptop. It's as simple as that. My old laptop was a Toshiba Equium M70 on XP. Being in I.T meant that I had to have the latest OS from Microsoft in order to help clients when they need help with Vista. Usually when somebody asks me to find them a laptop for their needs, I can do it swiftly, effectively and find them their perfect laptop. This was not to be the case with me, I sat ...
...myself down to where Toshiba, HP and Acer. I already had a Toshiba and to be honest, I really thought the speakers on their new version looked naff. Acer, a pretty budget make and often need repair. After going through specs after specs, I chose this laptop, Down to the build quality, reliability of HP. Review of HP Compaq Business Notebook 6710b - Core 2 Duo T7250 2 GHz - 15.4" TFT by blackoboy07

Advantages: Lightweight, Battery Life, Compatibility
Disadvantages: The Fan is a bit loud during everyday use

2 Ghz processor, 1024mb RAM, 4 x Universal Serial Bus inputs, Does that mean anything to you? Maybe not, but you don't need to know to get the best out of this computer, sure you may need to know some things, but it isn't compulsory. Features Fingerprint sensor - Yes that is right! you can now log onto your computer using a fingerprint, it isn't too slow, but i would also recommend using a password aswell as a backup, as the sensor can be a bit ...

When the price is Right
Review of HP Compaq Business Notebook 6510b - Core 2 Duo T7250 2 GHz - 14.1" TFT by 666Nemesis666

Advantages: Authentic businesslike looks, lots of inbuilt luxuries, relatively large screen, large memory.
Disadvantages: Over-priced, low graphics capabilities.

Compact and neatly organized (Dimensions: 33.1 cm x 24.3 cm x 3.4 cm) it is excellent for both home use and professional or business work. The keyboard is of standard size, although the 14" TFT screen also supports wide screen (with a screen resolution of 1280 x 800). The portability is superb, with a relatively low weight of 2.4 kg for a laptop with this screen size the exterior is of a classically 'businesslike' design and looks comfortable in ...
...GB - Serial ATA-150 - 5400 rpm hard drive makes for an impressive amount of disk storage and allows for a large 1GB of RAM. The Intel Core 2 Duo T7100 / 1.8 GHz ( Dual-Core ) processor used also means that this laptop is of impressive speed and power - however, I do find the noise of the processor's cooling fan annoying at times. This laptop however is not built for gaming with only an Intel GMA X3100 graphics card, watching movies or online video ... Read review
