I have been using this laptop for a couple of months and I think, for the money, this is an exceptional piece of equipment. My couple of gripes are long charging time, the right mouse button feels loose, it now takes a very long time to boot up (it was fine new and I have not added much software) and a very limiting hard drive. I recuperated one of these here in France as "broken", after carefull inspection it seems the 512MB RAM module has had it and prevents the laptop of working properly. Considering the previous review, I would assume the overheating is a serious problem for the internal components and mainly for the memory modules which are located centraly, right next to a heat exhaust pipe. The laptop seems to be OK in all other respects but considering the heat ...
