I love this laptop. It is a truly brilliant laptop and I have only managed to find one fault with it and that's the price. Looks The looks on this laptop are brilliant. Its just the right thickness and I love the black look. The keyboard and touchpad look good as well as does the traditional vaio logo on the top of the laptop. The huge 17 inch screen just helps make this laptop look the part. A great all round looking laptop. Functions ...

Advantages: Small, lightweight and packed with great gizmo's
Disadvantages: may be over budget

Sony Vaio's are well known for being the business types laptop, being expensive and packed with business type programmes and softwares, and especially hardware allowing people to comunicate and connect with the easiest of use. For example connecting to the internet or connecting a USB couldn't be easier on a laptop than it is on a Viao. But now with better graphics cards and a faster proccesor the Viao is more family freindly giving better movie ...

I have had this laptop for 1 month now and it has been a terrible waste of money. The first day i purchased it, it failed to boot up let alone the boot up time it took for the vista loading to apear. I took it back to comet where i purchased it and they said we cant do nothing because it comes under our policy. The only thing they did tell me is that if you press F10 on boot up then it should go in Recovery. And so i did, it worked and i have now ...
...that is supplied with the computer makes the whole working of the computer slow. The memory is low, not too mention that if you buy a shared graphics card with this machine it "steals" the memory off the Ram, which again makes it slow and laggey. The upside is that the look and style of this machine is OUTSTANDING, one of the reasons why i purchased it - in the first place. It offers a DVD-RW which takes its time to load different CD's/DVDs. ... Read review
