great buisness mans laptop
Review of Acer TravelMate 6292-301G16MN - Core 2 Duo T7300 1.8 GHz - 12.1" TFT by punker123

Advantages: fast
Disadvantages: could look more stylish

...little older version of the acer travel mate 6292. this travelmate, like the others is also designed for buisness people on the move. although this is the smallest and sleekist laptop from the acer line, this laptop still isnt as sleek and cool as some of the other new laptops out their on the market today. the TravelMate 6292 weighs less than 2kg with its 6-cell battery in place which i think you will agree is a really nice leight weight laptop, ...
...this is really portable. acer has made a real effort to change the design and robustness of this product. acer claim to have, provided better ergonomics, improved build quality and enhance overall durability in their new product and they have even added an magnesium alloy into the TravelMate chassis for enhanced robustness. even the lid over the screen is protected alot more, and you can tell by just holding this laptop its alot more secure then ... Acer Travel Mate 6592 Mate by name and nature
Review of Acer TravelMate 6592-101G16N - Core 2 Duo T7100 - 15.4" TFT by andy17898

Advantages: Good for office work, good battery life
Disadvantages: not so great for media

I had the model down from this one, so i cant review it specifically, but this model was purely an upgrade from the predeccessor, and my girlfriend sells this at her work, a well known PC superstore, there is a big interest apparently, and she reckons its brilliant, good value for money, and far superior to the one before. Plus point is a great battery life, and good for office type work such as word documents, powerpoint presentations, and excel ... Read review

My New Best Friend
Review of Apple MacBook Core 2 Duo 2.16 GHz - 13.3" TFT by CptSergeRidic

Advantages: Easy to use, lightweight and let's face it - darn cool
Disadvantages: No click pad, have to use button

Well, where do i start. I've had a variety of Macs and PCs over the last 10/15 years and i think i have now settled on Macs. There always used to be the problem of compatibility and now that no longer exists, then there was the problem of speed and that no longer exits, then the problem of availability of programs - well as you can guess that no longer exists. I'm writing this review on my mac now and i'm just so happy doing so. The only thing ...
...get over that quickly. Everyday i learn something new about this mac and what i can do with it, it's still amazing 6 months after i bought it. This isn't the computer to buy if you want to do graphic design or play high memory games, you'd need to get the macbook pro for that. If you want to use this as a general home computer for playing games and surfing the internet then, buy this now. Make sure you know what you want to use the computer for ... Read review

Macbook?
Review of Apple MacBook Core 2 Duo 2.2 GHz - 13.3" TFT by Cooperc01

Advantages: Fast, small, lightweight
Disadvantages: memory!

The other thing you'll notice is its keyboard. The keys are low into the base, and they have space between them, giving the impression that the keyboard is composed of many individual keys instead of one cohesive unit. We like that crumbs can't fall in between the keys, but we wish the keyboard was backlit like the MacBook Pro's. The new keyboard feels fine for touch typing, but we suspect it will be a very personal preference for those used to MacBook ... Read review
