...on this laptop is reasonable, it has 1gb which runs the laptop pretty fast, also its intel core 2 duo T7700 which is one of the newest processors makes this laptop run so fast. Another thing to note is that this processor runs at speeds like 1.2 Ghz. Sony also support Windows XP Professional and I considered changing to that; but they mention that some of the laptop's features won't work fully - including hard drive protection.
