...I tell you this because Apple try to "screw you over" somewhat, as they offer three different models of the MBP. Let me explain. There are two versions of the 15.4" model, the second one having a 2.5GHz processor and a 250GB hard drive. It boots up quickly, shuts down quicker, and goes to sleep (and wakes up again!) in a well behaved manner. I've never had any problems with it running slowly, or even crashing for that matter. ...on this laptop is reasonable, it has 1gb which runs the laptop pretty fast, also its intel core 2 duo T7700 which is one of the newest processors makes this laptop run so fast. Another thing to note is that this processor runs at speeds like 1.2 Ghz. One thing HP Compaq are good at is making great laptops for business people. This clearly shows in this laptop as it incorporates everything a business man would need in a laptop. This however doesn’t run on windows so is a downside for me and many others and also doesn’t have anywhere near the memory and hard drive this laptop has so this definitely wins that. The memory capacity is good but would be better with 2 G B. The weight is OK my laptop weighs 1.5 kg so is far better. A company came out with flash drive memory. I think it is faster. The company also claimed the same. They said it was about 33 percent faster. It does makes a difference. I dont know if it is available in India. I would surely like to own one.
