Firtsly, let me say that before you turn away from this beauty, you have to look at it close up and not in a picture. When I saw it, I had to have it there and then, it is THAT beautiful. ...i broke a cdr drive, compaq repalced under warrenty, no questions asked. much quieter than other models, battery still going strong. the built in wireless that comes in the lid is stuck on 11mb, so was prob a mistake to include, a pcmcia card would have been better. tons of other options available, all "in stock". brilliant. i have owned five Dell laptops and they have all been excellent. i had one that had a problem, howeveri had the onsite warranty. they were out next day and fixed it in my house. parts and all. they were consistent in their reliablilty and seem that way acroos the range. the smaller models were better than the larger types. i.e Centrino cooler than the P4 versions. this is similar in all Lappys though. i enjoyed the simplicity of setting ...
