Before we got this laptop we had a desktop PC with Windows 98, so I don't know whether it's that which influences my opinion or just the plain fact that this laptop is great! The Toshiba wallpaper is easy to get rid of, but there are numerous 'memory eating' programs that Toshiba claim to help your laptop - they do nothing worthwhile. Certainly nothing that Windows can't do better.
