...better off looking at another Creative player or even another brand. It does not seem to have the sleak appeal of other products on the market. Sound quality appears to be of a good standard however this does not make up for its weaknesses in other areas. The joystick is fairly small and has a cheap plastic feel to it. I bought this product as it had everything that I was looking for; good sound quality, plays video, has an fm radio and easy to use. However the screen was small, but that didnt matter as the whole device was so small and some sacrifices needed to be made to achieve that. The first Zen V+ I had only lasted about 2 months untill the screen started fading untill it turned completely black. I sent it back and got another one, this lasted less than half ...
...so that I could not press it so i gave up and tried a different mp3 player and I am still using it now, with no problems. So I doubt it was the way I was treating it. I got my 1gb (black and orange) Zen v player as a christmas present and have really enjoyed it. It is compact and fairly easy to navigate around. however, i dont like the lack of buttons - in my experience its easy to slip your thumb slightly and change to the next song in the playlist or whatever youre doing, as you could imagine this is fustrating but only happens on occasions.
