Really good bit of kit, lacks a screen but makes up for in ease of use and ease of transfer of music Bought one for fitness training while waiting for a suitable case for my ipod touch and was really impressed. i got this mp3 player for Christmas and it good because its really small and it fits in your pocket. you can also get it in a range of different colours so it is great for boys or girls.The only bad thing is there is not a screen so you can't look what song it playing.Overall it is great. you can fit up to 1,000 songs on it and the battery lasts for ages. This creative zen is extremely reliable, compared to the i-pods. I was given this as a gift a couple of years ago for christmas, and has never given me any trouble whatsoever. My friend, however, has had 3 i-pods in 2 years, and my creative zen has no signs of giving up yet! The only thing that lets the mp3 down is the fact that its quite big compared to the newer styles, however, the fact that it can hold up to 10,000 songs makes up for this!!! ...

After recently trying to put music onto my siblings i-pod, I realised how confusing they can be, and if my Creative Zen were ever to break I would definately invest in another Creative. ...too! I had a Creative Zen Xtra 30GB for Christmas back in 2004. I loved it, I really did. Until it decided it wasn't going to work any more after 9 months. Hard drive problems. It's still sitting, as a paperweight in a drawer. So, I thought, "Creative have had a few years to sort these problems out, I'll try with a new one". They say it's not covered under warranty, and they'll only offer me a discount on a new one of my choice. Like hell I'm going to get a new one from them!
