inefficient , a waste of money
Review of Babyliss BODY Toner by gijoe1974

Advantages: easy to handle, clear instructions
Disadvantages: inefficient, does not provide any kind of massage at all

I bought the Babyliss Body Toner at Boots for £19.99 last Christmas. I was looking for an easy to handle massager that would give me a strong and invigorating massage. This item seemed to be it. It has 2 settings: low setting for a relaxing massage (head massage) and high setting for a strong, toning massage. Before you can use the appliance, you have to plug it in for 12 hours. Once fully charged, I decided to give myself a hips and thighs toning ...
...manual itself is clear and compact). And there it was: I could not feel a thing. So after a couple of minutes I decided to speed up the process and go to the higher setting. Not much a difference it made. It was all too gentle to have any effect at all. That night, not to be defeated too easily, I plugged it in again for a full 12 hour charge. The next day I repeated the experience on my partner who suffers occasional back pain. I started on his ... Read review

Works, but not how it's intended
Review of Scholl DR1136 by DAkuma

Advantages: deep kneeding, can mend sore muscles
Disadvantages: too simple, very bulky and heavy

...£99 from Argos (was not available when I bought the Scholl), as it has a revolving action as well as up and down, and various settings to create myriad sensations. The Scholl has a simple on/off and you will find you will get used to this (and desensitised) very quickly. ... Read review

A little rigorous rubbing makes me ooh and aah
Review of Homedics SBM-300 by sparkled_pixie

Advantages: Easy to use, effective, easily accessible, versatile
Disadvantages: None what so ever

...a friend told me about Homedics SBM 300 which is an American invention which she uses to cure her backache being heavily pregnant. So I took her advice and ordered one from Amazon at a coast of £140 and waited with excitement for the day it arrived so that I could test it out. Homedics is in essence a cushion which is shaped like a chair without legs; it actually reminds me of a car seat. However it has been designed this way so that is can be used ...
...back ache but with this Homedics cushion it does exactly the same job, except I have probably saved myself money in the long run. I have been using this machine daily now for just over three months and I love it. The one suggestion I would make to anyone who is thinking of buying one is that for the first two or three times you use it fold a towel in half and place it over the back of the cushion because the massage is quite intense and powerful ... the real SQSH neck massager
Review of Homedics Sqush NECK by Miskah

Advantages: very pleasnt sensation, supports neck and head, good for travelling
Disadvantages: is a hummer

I was given the Sqsh foot massage pillow for a present on my birthday and was too polite too inform the giver I’d disliked and had got rid of it.. I was somewhat stuck for words when some months later I was given the SQUSH Neck Massage Pillow for Christmas. Anyway the embarrassing moment passed and this Sqsh languished in its box for a few months more. While sorting through the stuff that tends to accumulate in my box room I came across this Sqsh ...
...unpacked it and stuck in the batteries to make sure it worked, which it did so I decided to give it a try. Was I surprised … what had seemed like irritating and frenetic vibrations of the foot cushion were actually pleasant and soothing in this variant This Sqsh fits round your neck like a flight pillow. It’s covered in the same dark blue high denier, nylon spandex fabric which feels fleecy. It’s filled with the same tiny expanded polystyrene beads ... Read review
