Genius NewSketch 1212 III
Review of Genius NewSketch 1212HRIII v.2 - digitizer, cursor (puck), stylus by
bindie
Advantages: A4 Size Sketch Pad, the number of pressure points
Disadvantages: Big, wired stylus
I bought this because I needed to draw in depth CAD diagrams. It looked good because it was A4 size so I though that I could get a lot of detail into the diagram. I opened the box, took out all the contents, and found the installation book, and another piece of paper. It showed me how to connect the tablet to my PC, I though it would be easy, and that I would have to look at the instructions, but I found my self looking at them after about 5 minutes. ... ...I found that I could control the mouse with the stylus while dragging it across the tablet (pretty cool). When I eventually got down to doing my diagrams, I found that there was no drawing software provided. So I had to order a software package.
I would have thought that the product would have come with some kind of drawing package. The software that comes on the CD has a help guide, and a game, but the game isn't that good. I have the tablet under ...

Apple Wireless Mighty Mouse
Review of Apple Mighty Mouse Wireless - mouse by
HellSoul
Advantages: Almost brilliant design, looks great.
Disadvantages: Expensive, limited programming for buttons.
...year, I purchased my first Apple computer. Deciding to go for the iMac, an all-in-one desktop computer.
From their website, Apple include either the wired or wireless Mighty Mouse with the purchase, the Wireless option being a £13.99 upgrade option, but no option to get the computer without the mouse.
Because I have so many computer mice lying around, I was torn between selling the default (wired) Mighty Mouse when the computer arrived, or upgrading ... ...X).
Being my first Apple computer, I had to learn to use one click instead of two. At first I failed at this terribly, by holding down control and then clicking on something will do the same thing as right click will on a normal mouse, so if you regularly need to use the "right click" menu, then it can be quite awkward remembering that you need to operate mouse and keyboard at the same time. As a result of this, I found myself having to learn a ...

My Eye Candy
Review of Microsoft Basic Optical Mouse Black - mouse by
asomormridul
Advantages: Ease of use, warranty of two years, moves freely.
Disadvantages: Nothing so far.
...product range for myself. The Microsoft Basic Optical Mouse is one among them which I purchased after convinced myself about its worthyness. The one I had purchased is a Black in colour and looks as cute as my little black cat. Value in an optical mouse includes:
Optical technology, wheel scrolling and comfort of use whether you use your right hand or your left. The mouse fits to a firm grip and you can guide the cursor anywhere you want with an ... ...technology which is introduced by Microsoft keeps the optical sensor precise with no moving parts to wear out. The product which I had purchased came in a box of red and white with the picture of the mouse on the top of the face of the box. The box which is used for the packaging of the mouse too looks nice and attractive. It has a facility to hang it on the wall if you want to save your space at your godown or small store room. The top portion of ...

A great wireless mouse
Review of Microsoft Wireless Laser Mouse 5000 - mouse by
Alan-RMFB
Advantages: Scrolls up down left and right, side buttons
Disadvantages: You can accidentally press the side buttons
I really like this mouse, although it feels quite large if your going from a laptop mouse to this.
I love the side buttons, they are great for going back a page on the internet and its something I have found very helpful even though it can be pressed accidentally. The right hand side button magnifys the pages in a some square I fins this useful when I'm lying ing bed watching a DVD as it means I can skip forward a chapter much easier as I can see ... ...scroll wheel is good, although sometimes it does scoll to far (but that may be my settings, I don't know). Also with this scroll wheel the user is able to scroll from left to right, this is useful if the user is using Exel or a spreadsheet program to move from left to right, other than that I rarely use it unless a website has a left right scroll bar.
There was a notice came up that batteries were needing replaced sometime ago, although I never ...

A viper for the price of an EarthWorm
Review of A4Tech X7 Gaming Mouse X-718 - mouse by
tartupets
Advantages: Extreme grip and ease of use
Disadvantages: some time to get used to it.
A4Tech is know for their budget performance gadgetry. Some products can surprise you and others can blow your mind.
This mouse is apart of the "others"
I must mention, that I own the BF of this mouse. Its basically the same, but has different "skin".
Now, of the mouse itself. As it is a gamer mouse, it has a wire. And that wire is thin, so watch out for yanking it. But the mouse works. And amazingly well.
Just take it out of the box and hook ... ...feature is the driver. Called A4Tech Smart-X7 7.80, it provides the functions mentioned above. The others are manuals, troubleshooters and a mouse testing program. It is very helpful, if you cycle through many mice.
After the first 5 minutes playing CS, I experienced a huge advantage. X7 mice are equipped with very low friction sliders, so it really skid across the table. I thought the mouse was moving on air.
The stepping sensitivity interface ...
