Very useful, not only for drawing but also as a replacement to mouse. Left click is replaced with a touch of pen, two buttons on the thumb side of pen are for right click and drag, you can change these functionality to your own choice as well. Extra buttons on the tablet can be assigned a quick function you like it to do. Works fine on virtual machine as I use it in Parrallels for Mac that helps in to use it with XP or other software.
