Do You Really Want A Siemens In Your Hands?
Review of BenQ-Siemens EL71 by ayanayuk

Advantages: Small, clear display, it's a slider
Disadvantages: Bad battery life, flimsy back cover, crashes frequently.

I got an EL71 last December when I changed my mobile contract and my phone. I must admit that the EL71 looked quite attractive and I was tempted by the fact that you could upgrade the phone memory to 2Gb by the insertion of a MicroSD card so I decided to go with it. The phone itself is a nice concept. Siemens are trying to get back into the mobile market and this collaboration with BenQ has so much potential to rival Nokia and Sony Ericsson. The ...
...word? No. As I've said, it looks nice enough. Decked out in a sexy silver brushed metal effect it's quite attractive front on, but at the back it's just black plastic. Even then this undertstated effect is quite nice so you can have the phone and not worry about it being ugl. It's also a slide phone which means that the keypad drops down when you need to use it as opposed to being a flip or "candy bar" phone. As it's pretty small then you can pop ... Read review

Super sleek, won't stay a Secret for long!
Review of LG Black Label Secret KF750 by abbichicken

Advantages: High function, low maintenance, best of both worlds
Disadvantages: Touchpad can be oversensitive and fiddly

The LG Black Label Secret is my first phone in years not to be a Nokia. I got it as part of a free upgrade - I could've had the iPhone but opted for this as I've never got on well with iTunes and so on and liked the idea of having a phone which didn't demand that I converted everything I owned into its own format. I've had the phone for around three weeks, so obviously this review won't give the greatest indication of longevity, but should help with ...
...software disc which includes the LG handling software as well as a DiVX package with which you can convert videos in order to transfer them to your phone. ~~ Hardware ~~ The phone itself was very straightforwards to 'put together' - unlike some of my old phones where you think you're going to snap the back in half to make it work, this is much more robust, clicks in and out of place simply. It's a slide-opening phone which doesn't give you the ... Read review

LG Shine
Review of LG Black Label Shine KE970 by Aimee154

Advantages: Stylish, slim with large screen
Disadvantages: Some minor ones

...* Voice recording The LG Shine KE970 comes with headphones and a music player controller, phone adaptor, usb cable and software to download onto your PC. The software allows you to transfer music, photos etc to your phone or to the PC from your phone in an easy, quick simple way. This phone is a slim, light, stylish slider phone with a smooth, shiny metal body. I bought the LG Shine KE970 6 months ago and have found that the phone gets scratched ...
...side of the phone. The LG Shine KE970 is easy to use and navigate. The 2 mega pixel camera takes good quality and clear photos with or without using the macro. When taking photos you can rotate the phone to the landscape position in order to make it more convenient to take a photo using the buttons on the side of the phone. The camera lens doesn't have a cover though so it is exposed at all times which could result in damage. The mp3 player has ... Read review

Good phone, looks great, standard battery
Review of LG Chocolate KG800 by hkwilson

Advantages: great looking, easy to use
Disadvantages: could have better battery life

There is no denying that this phone has a very stylish look. The black and red contrast brilliantly. The battery life for this phone is standard, but does decrease quickly when making calls. On average you can have 4-5 days between charges, which i would say is average for a phone of this type. The phone is easy to use, not only having touch screen but also a texting keypad, giving you the best of both worlds. The camera is slightly below average; ...
...are a lot of other good features that make up for this in my opinion. The internal memory is good enough to hold up to 30 songs, and the supplied headphones produce a good sound. The reception is good, and the speaker produces a good sound making it easy to hear your conversation clearly. This phone is simple to use, looks GREAT, and is affordable. I would recommend it to anyone who wants a fairly simple phone for calling, texting and listening ... Read review

Advantages: stylish, easy to use and durable
Disadvantages: quite heavy to carry

The 6500 slide is a brillliant phone in my opinion I upgraded from samsung d900 last year and compared with that phone its alot better. The design of this phone is very sleek and durable. The phone is equipped with 3.2 mega pixel camera which takes a good quality picture and equally good quality videos. The phone has a built in mp3 player and FM radio. The sound quality is good on the phones . The phone has a very good battery life. The phone has ... Read review
