This means that some of the clarity from a dvd or high-res movie or if you were going to watch television on it. This is the perfect monitor. It has a big flat wide screen great for movies, games and all other sorts of office works, including graphics design and surfing the web. The only disadvantage this monitor has is that it is big and very heavy (but once you have your monitor on your desk how often do you need to move it?).
