Good runabout, but nothing special

Advantages: Strong, capable engine; good space for four people
Disadvantages: Gloomy interior, tin-can bodywork, poor paint finish, awful auto box

Micra 1.2 SX 3dr

Advantages: Utter reliability, running costs, easy to drive and park, sliding back seats, willing engine
Disadvantages: headroom in rear, slightly odd looks!

Nissan Micra (+customer service)

Advantages: Good visibility, safety features, power saving features, stylish
Disadvantages: back room space lacking, 1.2L engine slow low gear acceleration
