Review of Early Learning Centre Spiral Art by indigo78

Advantages: Encourages creativity
Disadvantages: Not very easy to do, Bottles of paint hard to squeeze

My son recieved this item for his forth birthday. He enjoys making and doing things creative so i thought this would be great for him. It comes with 3 small bottles of paint and a pad of small squared paper which fits onto the wheel and is held down under two blue clips either side. You then choose which colour paint you want and by pressing the big button continously it maks the wheel with the paper on spin around with your other hand you need ...
...as it is spinning to make a fantastic pattern. In theroy t his should be pretty easy but my four year old found it's quite difficult to press the button to spin the wheel as well as use one hand to squeeze the paint which needs quite a bit of squeeing to come out. In the end i would have to press the button for him whilst he used both his hands to get the paint out from the bottle. Also there is not alot of paint provided with the item and you ... Read review

Review of Early Learning Centre Face Paint Kit by scottishkat

Advantages: Great for Fancy dress partys!!!
Disadvantages: Starts to crack after a few hours.

What so hard about face painting well alot if you havn't got a steady hand like me. The ELC Face Painting Kit is priced at £5.00 and it comes with 8 face paints,(Yellow,Blue,Red,Black,White,Orange,Green andPink. and are the size approx a size of an egg cup and 1cm deep. You also get 4 cardboard face stencils that are so hard to use and become soggy. You are better trying it free hand no matter how bad you are at art.(YOU CAN HAVE ALOT OF FUN) ...
...You also get a little booklet with face painting ideas and instrutions. You really dont need many instrution on face painting. Just make sure that the child does not have sensitive skin or they could have a allergic reaction. Therefore ELC recommends that cosmetics and face paints are applied to the inside of childs wrist before applying any face paint to the face. And left for at least half an hour to see if any irritation occurs. We found that ... Read review

You can make all kinds of creatons with finger paints they are really educational for the kids. My four year old son is really artistic when it comes to painting he even made a painting of a butterfly out of his own hand prints and it was really good he put his hands in the ...
...then cut around them and stuck them on a peice of card to make the butterfly he then gave me the card for mothers day which was really great i was touched that he had made this card on his own without any help and thought to give it me. Finger paints are very messy so if you were to let your kids have them you might want to consider getting them painting aprons these can be purchased for around a pound from pound stretchers. I paid £4.99 for my ... Read review
