Driving in my car
Review of Early Learning Centre Friends First Car by
indigo78
Advantages: Fun and encourages gross motor skills
Disadvantages: Noisy
I love this product, and it's one of my best buys ever!
My first car is a big chunky car which runs on batteries which last ages and comes with a plastic figure which sits in the driving seat of the car. The figure makes a clicking sound when you move his head arms and legs and has a small orange button on his belly that squeeks when it's pressed.
What you do is you place the figure into the driving seat of the car pressing down as you do so. This ... ...the engine starts as it rolls across the floor. It stops and then you hear a childs laugh as the engine stops, and the car comes to a halt.
It's brilliant and my son had great fun playing with it.
It's idea for a child who is attempting to crawl or take he's or her's first steps. As the child can't help but try to move after the car as it drives away.
It's great value for money suitable for either a girl or a boy. Only downside is there is no ...

Click Clack Fun on a Track
Review of Early Learning Centre Click Clack Track by
BecksterMas
Advantages: Great sounds as cars go down
Disadvantages: None
This great click clack track comes with 4 cars in bright colours. It makes a fab click clack noise as the cars go down the tracks, encouraging your child to want to play again. It is really good for your chil's co-ordination, as they have to make sure all 4 wheels are on the track before it will work. The cars are also great to play with on their own- my son loved playing car parks with them. Its lovely to see a wooden toy in this age where plastic ...

Do yours hang low? Happy Ears Eeyore
Review of Fisher Price Happy Ears Eeyore by
kismet
Advantages: cute, easy to use, lovely donkey
Disadvantages: bit repetative
...Ears Eeyore is made by Fisher Price. It comes fixed to an open display box.
The toy is recommended for 18 months plus. It is operated by 4 x AA batteries.
WHAT DOES EEYORE LOOK LIKE?
Well, he looks like Eeyore silly! For those of you who don't know, he is a friend of Winnie The Pooh and he is a blue and purple donkey, with a pink bow in his tail. His tail falls off, so is usually attached with velcro or a ribbon.
Eeyore is a very morose animal, ... ...The toy is about 11" high and looks like the classic Disney Eeyore. The ears move up and down when he sings.
SO WHAT DOES EEYORE SING?
First he says Hello, I don't suppose you wanna sing a song with me. The he sings one of two songs:
Do your ears hang low, do they wobble too and fro?
OR
If your happy and you know it (clap your ears)
Then he says its time for his ears to take a nap. Press his foot again and he will sing the other song.
His ...

THIS WILL CHALLENGE THE INTELECT OF ANY AGE GROUP
Review of 20Q Radica by
llbcollins
Advantages: cheap, unfathomable, entertaining
Disadvantages: if you give it a little leeway you will be impressed by its answers
I saw the adverts for 20Q on sky television, and didn't really get what the advertising was about, apart from it appeared from the trailor to be advertising a gimmic which was supposed to be able to read the minds of random pedestrians, and after that I didn't think any more of it. After all it was probably a joke, right? I didn't think any more of it until I saw it in toys r us when I was looking for a gift to give my neice (13) and really didn't ... ...press a few buttons through the packaging to test the 20 Q, and I was really impressed, it did guess the word I was thinking within 20 questions.
I guess it works by process of elimination .. it asks whether something is animal, vegetable or mineral and kind of narrows down the thing you are most likely to be thinking of by quite a thoughtful interrogation process, where you must choose from the following responses "Unknown","No","Yes", "Sometimes".

Lazytown, not lazy kid!
Review of Fisher Price Lazy Town Super Sportacus Set by
sarahbarrow
Advantages: The kids look very cute when in costume.
Disadvantages: Bit pricey!
On our recent trip to Chapel St Leonard's we, (myself and my husband), decided to help our children on their way to spending the copious amounts of money they seem to have accumulated.
(My kids have this amazing trick of making their money last them twice as long as the money lasts for anyone else, I keep trying to get them to do the weekly shop for me but they are having none of it!)
After getting up to Wednesday with Saturday being the last day ... ...spending money had actually been spent, we frog marched them to the Skegness branch of Woolworths to spend a little!
The first thing that caught my son's eye was the one thing he'd been asking for, for quite sometime, but I had been refusing saying how it was a waste of money, unfortunately I had no choice this time, hence the review I will now write!
The product I will review is the "Sportacus fancy dress costume".
For anyone not familiar with ...
