Darth Vader: Lightsaber
Review of Hasbro Star Wars Episode 3 Darth Vader Lightsaber by
Marley123456
Advantages: Very child friendly
Disadvantages: May become bored easily
Whether you are playing with it by yourself, or playing agaisnt somebody else with another Lightsaber, this is one of those toys that you just have to have. The colours make it very pretty when the lights are off and its dark. It is very realistic and it looks extremely similar to Darth Vader's Lightsaber. If you kids like Star wars, or just want something bright to play with, this is the toy to buy for them. Its price is very cheap for what you ...

Sizzling fun
Review of Early Learning Centre Sizzlin BBQ by
BecksterMas
Advantages: Great sounds
Disadvantages: Needs batteries
This bbq is great value for money at £17.50. Not many places make bbq toys, so this is rather unique. It makes a great bbq sound, which changes when you put food on. It comes with a great range of food- my 4yr old loves cooking for us on it. It also comes with a brilliant selection of utensils-brilliant for role play. My daughter loves the bbq lighter- it makes a clicking noise when you press the button. The controls on the bbq are fun to use too.The ...

Click Clack Fun on a Track
Review of Early Learning Centre Click Clack Track by
BecksterMas
Advantages: Great sounds as cars go down
Disadvantages: None
This great click clack track comes with 4 cars in bright colours. It makes a fab click clack noise as the cars go down the tracks, encouraging your child to want to play again. It is really good for your chil's co-ordination, as they have to make sure all 4 wheels are on the track before it will work. The cars are also great to play with on their own- my son loved playing car parks with them. Its lovely to see a wooden toy in this age where plastic ...

mess free painting
Review of Fisher-Price Musical Finger Paint by
danniell
Advantages: great fun
Disadvantages: hard for younger children to use
This toy is a great way to allow children to paint with there fingers mess free.
The board is made of a hard plastic with a blue guey substance as the paint which has a thin soft plastic sheet infront of it to stop it making a mess of your hands.
It needs 3 aa batteries and plays music when you play with it
You have 4 shapes attached to the bottom of the board which you can push into the paint to make a pattern but you do have to push quite hard ... ...There is a pull down bar to smooth the paint back out after playing with it to start all over again but this doesnt smooth the paint very well unless you apply a lot of presure.
I brought this from the argos for £19.99 when the girls were younger as it is aimed at children aged 18 months plus but needs that much pressure applying to the paint to maske it move my 3 year old is just now strong enough to play with it.
I think this toy is fantastic ...

A chef in the making?
Review of The Little Little Toy Company My First Kitchen by
emma29879
Advantages: bright colours, chunky pieces
Disadvantages: see review
...but i got it in the sale for £14.
There are a few little loose partsYou get a frying pan with a little egg in which moves around when you shake it, you get a salt and pepper pot with little balls in that make a noise when you shake them and there is a little spatula.
Fixed onto the kitchen is a toaster which you can push the bread down in and it plays a noise when the toast pops up. There is a button to press for the washing machine which makes ... ...button to press to open the oven door and when you close the oven door it makes a tick noise then a ping to show your cooking is done (my son likes to pretend to cook the salt and pepper pot although gets very cross when the egg pan won't fit in). You can also turn the knob and the hob lights up and when you put the frying pan on it makes a sizzly noise.
There are good points and bad points to this toy, bad points first:
The oven door comes off ...
