Dell Axim X30 PDA
Review of Dell Axim X30 by
craggybuk
Advantages: Light, good battery life
Disadvantages: Not easy to use Pocket Word/Excel.
I was bought one of these by work and for the first couple of weeks i thought it was brilliant. however the novelty factor can soon wear off. It is virtually impossible to use pocket word or excel for anything meaningful as it will drive you insane attempting to use the onscreen keyboard. It is also worth bearing in mind that when entering passwords, if someone else is watching the screen, they will get it straight away due to the speed that you ... ...is surprisingly good and though a few people have commented that the text is too small, I dont share this view.
Where these things come into their own is for the diary and online functions. With full wifi and bluetooth support most websites will load up as they do on a standard pc. (some however do have problems). Add to this, the pocket version of MSN and the X30 caters for the businessman and teenager alike. The Axim can be hooked up to your PC ...

PDA's are the future!
Review of HTC Advantage X7500 by
Mr.Freeman
Advantages: Wireless modem, USB port, Media creations..the list goes on!
Disadvantages: None
...But with devices like the HTC Advantage, most of those people eat their negative views. This is one device that integratesa an Intel Processor for faster processing and loading. It has an 8Gb expandable meory with other features ot allow expansion (if memory SD cards are used). Unlike many small brand PDA's, the HTC comes complete with a USB port to allow memory stick use, a headset connection and a video lead input. The camera on the front of the ... ...take images (only 3mp though unfortunately). The largest benefit to this device that I found was the battery power. I found that with general use and less time calling people, the battery supported the device for around 220 hours. A number not to be sniffed at! As with ohter top of the line PDA's, the device as an inbuilt GPS receiver for locations etc and a wireless modem for internet connection. All in all, a very good product for a reasonable ...

Great Smartphone for the price of mass!
Review of E-TEN Glofiish M700 by
gnetro
Advantages: It is a Wi-fi and GPS capable Smartphone with a nice sliding QWERTY keypad.
Disadvantages: Small memory capacity compare to it's size but expandable
I say this is one of the best Smartphone I owned, with a very cheap price, What make this unique is it combines Price and Quality! Pay a low price for the High quality is really a big deal. Great features that you cannot find it on its price. This is highly recommend especially for the students. There's only one thing missing in the feature, the 3G, But who cares right? if has WI-FI.
My favorite feature of m700 is that the camera is very clear, ... ...others that when you do multi-task you will feel that it slows down. But this one when you do multi-task the space for the memory was allotted for the active window, so all other activity that is inactive will reduce the memory usage. The pros of m700 is it packs with the famous EDGE, it is a quad-band, a gprs capable, a GSM, m700 has also integrated with wifi, FM radio, Bluetooth and GPS. ...

A PC in a nutshell!
Review of HP iPAQ Pocket PC H5550 by
starmanx
Advantages: Accessories, quite luminous display, fingerprint reader
Disadvantages: Battery life, Applications
Hello, i bought the iPAQ H5550 on E-bay for 200 Pounds. The first thing that attracted my attention on this particular model , is the fingerprint reader. The device works well, better than more i have tried before. The accuracy of the read is based on the speed of the sliding of your finger on it, but i have to say that it has 99% chanche to recognize you at the first slide, after just a couple of tries. It also has integrated Wireless network card(802.11b),not ... ...will have to be upgraded from website, and if you want to use certificate for authentication you will need to purchase a third party application. The software included will allow you to easily work on Microsoft Office based document, it has Outlook and Internet Explorer as well, and you will find plenty of freeware/shareware application on the internet, being the device Windows Mobile 2003 based.
It has a 400Mhz processor and 128 Mb of ram that makes ...

A masterpiece of modern technology
Review of E-TEN Glofiish X500+ by
JULIANMAURICE1
Advantages: Wifi, GPS, VGA, Bluetooth, functional design, media capabilities
Disadvantages: Poorly designed software shell and non existent customer support
...life, in a word awful. E-ten have gone to great lengths to make this phone do everything, but boy can it use up a full charge fast as a result. Anyone considering buying this phone will need to purchase a back up battery and travel charger. I was surprised to find that even a car charger will barely keep pace with the power drain. Then there's customer support - there isn't any. Buyers would be wise to use a reputable company and possibly find out ... ...Lastly there's the software bugs, I have had to spend nearly a day loading and reloading in different software in order to get the Eten working properly (although any regular Pocket PC user would be used to this amount of messing about with a new device anyhow). Rather than going for a slick business-like graphical interface like the HTC touch or iphone, ETen have overcomplicated the usability of the device by adding seemingly pointless and poorly ...
