Dell Axim X30 PDA
Review of Dell Axim X30 by craggybuk

Advantages: Light, good battery life
Disadvantages: Not easy to use Pocket Word/Excel.

I was bought one of these by work and for the first couple of weeks i thought it was brilliant. however the novelty factor can soon wear off. It is virtually impossible to use pocket word or excel for anything meaningful as it will drive you insane attempting to use the onscreen keyboard. It is also worth bearing in mind that when entering passwords, if someone else is watching the screen, they will get it straight away due to the speed that you ...
...is surprisingly good and though a few people have commented that the text is too small, I dont share this view. Where these things come into their own is for the diary and online functions. With full wifi and bluetooth support most websites will load up as they do on a standard pc. (some however do have problems). Add to this, the pocket version of MSN and the X30 caters for the businessman and teenager alike. The Axim can be hooked up to your PC ... Read review

A PC in a nutshell!
Review of HP iPAQ Pocket PC H5550 by starmanx

Advantages: Accessories, quite luminous display, fingerprint reader
Disadvantages: Battery life, Applications

Hello, i bought the iPAQ H5550 on E-bay for 200 Pounds. The first thing that attracted my attention on this particular model , is the fingerprint reader. The device works well, better than more i have tried before. The accuracy of the read is based on the speed of the sliding of your finger on it, but i have to say that it has 99% chanche to recognize you at the first slide, after just a couple of tries. It also has integrated Wireless network card(802.11b),not ...
...will have to be upgraded from website, and if you want to use certificate for authentication you will need to purchase a third party application. The software included will allow you to easily work on Microsoft Office based document, it has Outlook and Internet Explorer as well, and you will find plenty of freeware/shareware application on the internet, being the device Windows Mobile 2003 based. It has a 400Mhz processor and 128 Mb of ram that makes ... Read review

HP iPaq Pocket PC hx2750 - Powerfull pocket PC
Review of HP iPAQ Pocket PC Hx2750 by sharmasonkool

Advantages: Really smartly designed powerful PDA of latest spec.
Disadvantages: Moneywise - expensive than the other similar products avaliable in the market

HP iPaq Pocket PC hx2750 is the most powerful pocket PC available in the market in today's date. It is quite safe (security wise) and intelligently designed PDA. One feature that attracts me (again security) is under its screen it has, a narrow rectangular bar marks the fingerprint reader that comes quite handy to keep your files and applications safe and not easily accessible. Design: It is lot attractive, easier to grip/hold and it has a screen ...
...obviously stays there while in use). Just to add more in its cleaver design, which attracted me, was, along with the flip screen, it has nice and soft side cushions, which protects it from being damaged if dropped. It also has quite decent battery life and they claim that it can run for up to 4 and a half hours once fully charged. Technical spec. - I must admit it has the highest spec. we can get on a pocket PC in today's date. Here is some of ... Read review

Good Hardware
Review of Sony CLIÉ PEG-UX50 by Hawke2007

Advantages: Solid Build, Very Portable, Nice Feel, Cool Features, Sony Memory Stick PRO
Disadvantages: Battery life isn't great.

I bought this product recently and have been extremely impressed. Yes, I realise that I am 4 years behind the times, but its cheap now and was over £500 back then. So I see it as a bargain. First things first as a Personal Organiser this is an amazing machine, it contains all the software that you need for organising your life. But if you are looking for more than just a To-Do list, Calendar, Contacts etc. then you will need to have a quick look ...
...for Video Playing, it plays a multitude of formats very well. QuickWord and QuickSheet (Unfortunately costs money) are the Palm versions of Office Word and Excel. SplashID for everything to store secretly. pTunes for music playback (MP3s etc.). Agendus Pro to improve the Organising functions and of course Monopoly for those rather boring of times. The UX50 also has built in Wi-Fi and Bluetooth which can be very useful and the browser supplied is ... Read review

An excellent gps navigator and great PDA
Review of HP iPAQ Rx5935 Travel Companion by 2jayd

Advantages: 2GB of memory, nifty functions
Disadvantages: Appears larger than it is, otherwise none.

When I first saw the HP iPAQ rx5935 Travel Companion, I thought it resembled a GPS navigation gadget rather than a Pocket PC. This was due to the landscape orientation of the front panel, which is quite unusual. Only on closer inspection did I realise that the iPAQ actually offers much, much more and that the shiny silver body creates a false impression about the device’s true nature. The unusual aesthetics make the device appear larger than it actually ...
...upside down. In summary, HP designers once again proved their competence. The HP iPAQ rx5935 is an excellent navigator and its other functions make it a capable PDA. 2 GB of integrated memory is a definite strongpoint. The overall performance is perfectly balanced, and details such as configuration applets, quality of assembly etc., are at a high level, as is the standard in iPAQs. ... Read review
