**Compaq iPAQ Pocket PC H3950**
Review of Compaq iPAQ Pocket PC H3950 by

Advantages: Great Transflective Screen and amazingly fast processor
Disadvantages: Over priced

This is a great handheld pocket PC and what's more, you can carry it around with you wherever you go. Just think of all of the things you can do with a compact computer at the palm of your hands. Write documents and notes when you need to, particularly great when organising your life to put it simpler. I mean, it's far better then a diary because if you're anything like me, you probably ... ...of losing my pocket PC. You can easily access the internet from wherever you are, if you need to look up tube/train times at last minute, you can. If you perhaps want to just research something at a particular moment for example in a pub quiz - I'm not saying you should cheat at pub quizzes or anything - well they're easy anyway. But what's more, you can check your email regularly without having the hassle of turning on your home computer when you've ...

Good all round PDA.
Review of Compaq iPAQ Pocket PC H3870 by
craftycartman
Advantages: Reasonably Light, Ergonomic, Easy to set up and use.
Disadvantages: Screen can be hard to see in direct sunlight and smallish memory to start with.
My main use for the PDA is as a portable PC, laptops aren't all that easy to carry around and just not as easy as putting a PDA in your pocket or clipping it onto your belt.
The iPaq is a good all round PDA, it has all the software you need and any extra software is easily found and simply installed. I know this is an older PDA now, but it has a good system, runs very fast and is very simple to set up and use.
The number of accessories that are ... ...good investment. You can easily make it into a Sat Nav system or get it hooked up to the net via a Wi-Fi pack. One of the best accessories though is the foldable plug in keyboard, which makes typing so much easier if you aren't a big fan of the touch pad system that all PDA's have.
The iPaq also seems to be pretty robust, the screen is yet to be scratched (after a good two months use) and I've dropped it on a few occassions (don't try this at home) ...

This is my modern swiss army knife.
Review of Fujitsu Siemens Pocket LOOX 600 by
JimKerr
Advantages: Low Price, Excellent Functionality, Expansion Slots
Disadvantages: Getting a little old
I have owned and used this daily for over two years without a single problem. If you want the specs look elsewhere if you want to know what it can do read on...
I do like my gadgets but this has been truely useful and cost effective. I originally bought it to keep track of contacts and my diary. But I now know it can do so much more.
I bought a keyboard so I can type notes on the train and it is a lot smaller than a laptop and the battery life ... ...for text notes.
(No Laptop, Saved £1000)
I bought an SD card for storage and can now play MP3's but it doesn't stop there. I got an Ap for my PC that allows DVD to be compressed and stored on 128MB or 256MB cards. I have just been to france and had a couple of my sons DVDs on cards so he could watch while abroad. (No portable DVD player, Saved £150)
It has built-in Bluetooth as well so I bought a USB bluetooth dongle (100m version) and can now ...

I've got a new toy
Review of HP Jornada 568 by
brianbarnes
Advantages: All the feel of Windows in a pocket size ditty
Disadvantages: Just a little bit pricey at the moment
...this entire review on my HP Jornada 568. Hopefully this introductory statement will go part the way to explaining it's incredible flexibility. You see, if you are used to spending half your life in the Microsoft Windows environment you will be right at home here.
But what is it? Technically speaking it's a PDA (if you don't know what a PDA is then you probably won't be buying this little number anyway), but it does a whole lot more than just handle ... ...bit. Remember I said the HP Jornada was a windows environment. Well get this. There's no boot or shut down sequence. That's right. Switch the machine of in the middle of something important and you will lose absolutely nothing. What's more, you won't have to wait an age for scandisk to run. There is no disc to scan!
This is Windows without the negatives, and that has to be good.
I'm writing this on Pocket Word. Essentially it's the same as Word ...

The Viewsonic V35
Review of ViewSonic Pocket PC V35 by
Williham
Advantages: Cheap, powerful, can be upgraded to windows mobile 2003
Disadvantages: Low memory, not a large amount of accessories available
I purchased my Viewsonic V35 pda because i was looking for a fairly powerful pda to run games, internet applications and act as a media player, also i didnt have a large budget so the v35 was perfect.
In the box was the pda, the manual, a cradle to connect to your pc, and a usb cable to connect to your pc, also a small pouch to protect the pda from damage. When i saw there was no ac adapter i was fairly worried, but soon realised that the pda would ... ...tried to get help from viewsonic to fix this but they no longer manufacture them so they refused. I also found out while searching the internet for a solution that many other people have had this problem with the v35, so it is not just me.
In conclusion i would advise against the Viewsonic V35, it may seem very good value for money, but you will be forced to pay for a new pda very soon when the screen corrupts. It is not worth it. ...
