Review of Palm Treo 750v by
glassmcgregor
Advantages: It has Windows Applications handy
Disadvantages: The camera quality does not match it's many great features
...could all actually fit the palm of my hand. I am a mother of two little ones and it's my perfect partner with my daily multi-tasking but best of all I get to steal moments very easily to work on my literary pieces on the word application minus a bulky laptop wherever I go even while pushing a buggy - how great is that?! The only down side is the camera, but it doesn't bother me much because I prefer a proper camera anyway. ...

Palm Tungsten T (2nd hand BUYERS BEWARE)
Review of Palm Tungsten T by
GretelNevols
Advantages: Brilliant when new
Disadvantages: After two years use it begins to deteriorate
...new "T" to replace my Palm Vx which had done me a good turn but was beginning to play up.
I loved the "T" right from the start, it was fast in its work, small for my handbag or pocket and did all the usual things like Date Book, Contacts, etc and one press on the Hot sync button on the cradle and all my Word and Excel documents and notes prepared on the go were transferred seamlessly to my home PC using the Documents to Go programme which came in ... ...on the bright colour screen. Voice recorder is good too, but I soon changed the button on the side to "Date Book" for I often found the unit recording by itself having obviously touched the button by mistake on picking up the unit.
Then after two years things began to go wrong, first thing I noticed was that the screen had "slipped", a tap with the stylus produced the wrong result! This meant redigitizing the screen, firstly now and again then more ...

PALM TREO 750. GOOD LOOKER WITH USER PROBLEMS.
Review of Palm Treo 750 by
Hi-Spec-Tek
Advantages: IT DOES A JOB, GOOD LOOKING, SMALL.
Disadvantages: MANUFACTURERS ENGINEERING PROBLEMS
Palm Treo 750? Oh what an item! Such a useful device for your pocket/handbag, whatever - Or so I thought!
I have had my Palm Treo 750 for about 8 months now but am not truly satisfied. This model cost in the range of £350.00 new. The good points are: Great mobile phone, useful diary, calender and all that you need in a "portable" office. The size is right, the feel of it is good, rounded, and comfortable to use. A good user friendly hand portable ... ...combat this problem. Now the Palm is too large to sit safely in its snug leather protective case. Oh dear!
My biggest moan and findings of many who own one of these Palm Treo 750 are the same as I have stated and they have written to Palm regarding this matter of inactive, non-working touch-screen. No replies! Palm still make and do sell this model without having dealt with the very bad problem it has. There is no known cure as far as I can discern ...

Palm T/X: business in a pocket
Review of Palm T|X by
donperignon77
Advantages: It has loads of applications for every day business
Disadvantages: Software quite User-unfriendly
I received the PALM T/X as a present and at the time the only data bank / portable personal data tool I had was an old Casio personal agenda.
The PALM T/X is a very good device to store personal data, like Calendar, Phone book, etc. Also, I soon bought a 2Gb memory card, which allowed to greatly upgrade the device standard memory. One issue I found is the memory slot: in fact, there is no protection for the meory card, which may be accidentally ... ...example when transporting the Palm in the pocket.
Other not-good characteristic is the software interface, which is quite User-unfriendly and old-looking and when accessing some applications it does not allow to close them. Time to time I observed crashes, however, it is easy to recover from them.
Other than that, this is a very useful and good device, which, despite its drawbacks, I recommend. ...

Palm Treo 680
Review of Palm Treo 680 by
AndrewPo
Advantages: Small and well made, Palm OS
Disadvantages: a bit fiddly
...fat fingers. I have used Palm OS PDAs for many years so I have a lot of data and applications from previous devices that I want to maintain and I was keen to stay with the Palm OS operating system rather than switch to Windows at this stage. It was easy to move the Treo 680 from my Palm T5 without any loss of data. Now I only need to carry one device instead of a PDA and a phone. The stylus is a bit fiddly to use when compared to the chunky T5 one, ... ...times, which is surprisingly good. Palm OS however does not support 3G so the internet access is quite slow by the very latest standards, although fine for occasional use, so this is probably not an ideal device for someone who spends a lot of time surfing on the move.
Battery life is not as good as my old T5 PDA and it does need to be charged almost on a daily basis, but then that is to be expected with such a lot of functionality in a single device. ...
