Good old-fashioned CD player!
Review of Bush CDW123 by
adambell
Advantages: Simple.
Disadvantages: Old
I used to have one of these, a good old-fashioned CD player! never failed on me, not once. I must admit that i never tried running with it, but walking to and from school with one in my rucksack was never a problem. It's nothing fancy, it doesn't have a built in radio - but who ever uses them anyway? It doesn't have mp3 playback on it, but no-one had ever heard of mp3 when i had mine! The only reason i stopped using mine was because i invested in ... ...course a better way of carrying around large amounts of music, i missed my trusty old CD player! I have to get it out every now and then just to make sure its still working! The sound quality through the earphones it came with was appalling, but i never realized until i got some expensive ones! ...

THE PORTABLE CD PLAYER.
Review of Sony D-E 200 by
apatra
Advantages: PRDODUCES QUALITY SOUND.
Disadvantages: : SMALL AND QUITE EXPENSIVE.
Well I have taken Sony as my brand both in games, electronics and other device. This is a very fantastic stereo device with high quality sound out put. In my own case, I most of the time connect it to my theatre sound system and it produces fantastic and good quality sound. The portable Sony stereo comes in a nice blue colour and this is a nice portable machine for music lovers. The most of all is that it has advanced and sophisticated steady sound ... ...wanted a substitute for my Sony Eriksson Walkman phone that has some how low battery life so I had to keep the phone for the purpose of communication only.
Sony got it right this time by working specifically on the battery life and they got it. The major factor that makes me to buy these electronic products is the long battery life.
It has five play back modes that will enable you in play back CD by enabling you to listen a particular track again ...

Does The Job EXPected Of It
Review of Philips EXP 321 by
scream4bruce
Advantages: Loud enough
Disadvantages: A bit slow, cheap earphones
I've had this for a couple of years, I originally bought it because it was able to play mp3s from CDR and CDRW. Although I do have a dedicated mp3 player, I would rather listen to my CDs on this.
I did find the mp3 navigation to be slow, and this wasn't helped by the limited display.
Sometimes it takes a while to get started when it comes to CD playback as well, and it has the cheek to show 'OOPS' in the display when this happens. I've also had ... ...seconds into the opener and the album jumps to the next track.
Usually I find that at around volume 2 (highest - 10) the loudness is sufficient. In terms of settings there are two levels of bass boost but I am able to pick out the low end without these. The supplied earphones are without volume controls, and are not particularly comfortable. Also the cord is fairly short in length but did last me a couple of years.
I'm under the impression the ...
