Having owned several Samsung branded MP3 players over the years, I really enjoyed them so I decided to upgrade from their K5 mp3 player. I found this well built and very reliable (hardly ever crashed) and loved the portable slide out speaker. Eventually it installed, but I found the Samsung music organiser not as convenient or easy to use as Windows Media Player, so I still use that to syncronise my music to the player. I got the E280 for xmas 2007 so I've had a good 4 months to get used to it and I can say that it is a very good mp3 player. The interface is very easy to use and putting music on there is just a simple case of drag and drop, brilliant! It does get more confusing when you want to add films but after a few goes you'll get the hang of it. The video player is good, I do find the screen a bit small for movies but a good size for animations like Simpsons ...

I often get it randomly crashing either when I am listening to music or when I am copying music to it and, even though I have unplugged it from my computer, it still says "writing" and may well stay like that for a long time.
